Megan Thee Stallion is celebrating another Platinum plaque on her wall. The Houston born rapper received RIAA Platinum certification for “Hot Girl Summer” on Monday.

Before it was a song, hot girl summer was a phrase coined by Thee Stallion for the Summer of 2019 that was picked up throughout the culture for women to turn up all Summer. Eventually, The 25-year-old hottie tapped Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla Sign to turn the phrase into a record to close out the Summertime.

“Real Platinum Girl S–t” Megan wrote on the Instagram post tagging the featured artists. This is Megan’s second platinum record with the first being “Cash Sh–” featuring DaBaby from her Fever mixtape.

She also received a Gold plaque for her breakout record “Big Ole Freak” in July of this year.
