West Coast rapper Game believes Nipsey Hussle is a legit California king. The hip-hop veteran has likened Hussle’s influence to late rap icon Tupac Shakur.

More than a man. A king of his people. A legend in his city. Carried the weight of his entire neighborhood with the promise of elevation. Preached self motivation to all who would listen & left footprints on this earth for all to see. A friend, a father, a brother, a son & an icon. Before the world knew it, he knew it. We knew it. I’ll keep saying how proud I am to have known such a soldier with the purest heart. Los Angeles is a maze from birth & everyday from like the age of eight years old there are constant obstacles just to make it to the next. Like many poverty stricken cities & neighborhoods across the world its a struggle to see light especially when you are surrounded by darkness. Everyone does not make it out. Where Los Angeles differs is, there is a gang every 5-10 blocks making even the walk to school life threatening & if you make it to 18 alive that is a blessing. Damn near luck !!! These cities, neighborhoods were traps set up by the U.S. government in the 60-70’s & going into the 80’s where cocaine & heroin were flooded into the streets where African Americans, Hispanics & other races of struggle were pushed to a place for the ultimate destruction & future gentrification of our people. 2Pac screamed it long time ago.. T.H.U.G.L.I.F.E…. “The Hate U Give Little Infants Fucks Everybody” & we were the generation after… children left with little or no hope of ever progressing or making it out. Nip was one of those kids turned king who saw the bigger picture & dedicated his entire life to the betterment of US starting from within. That is rare… & so was he. They implement self hate so that we see ourselves as the enemy & who closer to you than your own. These guns, these drugs… where they come from ???
