Lawsuit Filed Against Miley Cyrus for ’23’ Single Dropped

A sigh of relief for everyone who collaborated on the song “23” by Miley Cyrus as the lawsuit for the song has been dropped. The Blast reports the single, which featured Juicy J, Wiz Khalif and Mile WiLL Made-It’s production, is no longer a subject of court proceedings.

The track was in the eyesight of Yella the Triple Threat, an artist who stated that the song was very similar to one of hers titled “Js on My Feet.” Yella stated in the suit the song was released to help in a rebrand to being an “edgier, urban, and adult performer.” She also states that she was not compensated for the song.

The suit was dropped without any response from Cyrus and her team since it was first issued, however, Yella and Juicy J had reached an agreement that had dropped him from the suit earlier. The documents to drop the lawsuit was filed on November 14.
