Keke Wyatt Apologizes for Insensitive Comments Toward Milan Christopher

Keke Wyatt has stolen the hearts of many with her beautiful singing voice, this time the singer may have turned hearts cold after some insensitive comments she made in regards to the black community on a podcast with Milan Christopher.

The celebrities appeared to be on the BIGO app having a conversation about the oppression of black people. “In reality, black people have been segregated, persecuted, hunted down, killed, stolen from, humiliated-” Christopher begin before being interrupted by Keke Wyatt who rolled her eyes the entire time he spoke.

“Black people are not the only ones who have gone through that. Look at the Jews!” she yelled. When Milan asked if she could stop interrupting him, fans were disgusted with Wyatt’s next comments. “Ok pro-black, alright praise God, go head sweet sugars,” she stated. “I don’t understand. We biracial, right. We love everybody, but then you got your certain Black folks that just ‘n*gga, n*gga, n*gga, n*gga’… You have to understand Black people are not the only people that have been oppressed. They are not the only ones, my n*gga! Jewish people have been oppressed, okay. I can keep going. I’m biracial! We f*ckin’ oppressed ’cause Black people done made us feel like sh*t! White people make us feel like sh*t! You don’t know that life!”

When the clip aired, social media went into a frenzy over the controversial clip. Keke Wyatt then sat down with the ladies of Fox Soul to give an emotional apology to the people that she has hurt with her comments. “I want my sisters to know that I love them and I am sorry down to my damn bone marrow if I hurt-” the singer took a pause to gather herself.  “I did not mean to diminish our culture at all.”

While some may have been able to accept the apology so easily, Milan Christopher was clear, that he wasn’t letting up so easily. He commented under the clip, “Girl fuqn please! You can save those crocodile tears for the Jews an the Mexicans who’s oppression you speak so highly about!” he wrote. “You didn’t have an ounce of remorse to black lives or interest in Black history when I was speaking to you about it Something that should have touched at least ‘one half’ of your half black ‘bone marrow’ When I mentioned black peoples adversities you was rolling your eyes, smacking your lips and telling me I’m too pro-black!”

“Now you so sorry? You can save this charade for the weirdos who will continue to let you smack them in the face and then they hug you when you fake cry about it like every other typical ‘KARAN’ that you are! RESPECTFULLY.”
