Kanye West Gives $500,000 to California Fire Relief

Some may call Kanye West crazy, but you also have to call him caring. Mr. West latest act of giving will be a huge contribution to the benefit the fearless firefighters in California.

According to TMZ, Kanye donated $500,000 to the relief of the deadly California wildfires. Kanye teamed up with Adidas used Yeezy brand to raise the money.

TMZ also reported that Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, will appear on today’s episode of Ellen, to present the monies. The show will begin with Kim K promoting her new Glam Bible beauty kit, and then the show will focus on the disastrous California wildfires, which death toll rose to 84.

Kim K West will present a $200,000 check to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Relief Fund and a $200,000 check to the California Fire Foundation.  She’ll also present a $100k check to firefighter  Michael Williams and his wife, who will also appear on ‘Ellen’ Wednesday. They lost their home, but Willaims continued to save his neighbors’ homes.  He has no clue what to expect later on today.

Before this donation, Yeezy gave  $150,000 to the family of Jemel Roberson. Roberson was killed by police while working as a security guard and prior to that, he gave $200,000 to Chicago Mayoral candidate Amara Enyia.
