West Coast rapper Game isn’t ready to move on. The hip-hop veteran has continued to share thoughts and reflections on the life of late friend Nipsey Hussle.

The Los Angeles native went to Instagram Friday to admit the hardest part of Nipsey’s death is accepting he’s gone.

Wayyyyyy too soon… & I fully understand the reality of what happened to bro, it’s the accepting part of it all that I have not been able to deal with. It’s not only me cause I talked to a lot of close friends & family and everybody feels exactly the same. It’s one thing to carry on your mission, memory & legacy…. but it’s an entire different energy attached to the “Nip actually being gone forever” part that just will not settle. These pictures I post everyday, the murals going up around the world, your music blaring out of every car that passes & the RIP hashtags just do not seem like they should be attached to your name this early in life. It’s krazy, cause when I watch videos & hear yo voice, it seems like something you just recorded & posted on your page like usual. I see pictures of you & others and in my mind it’s like “yep, my nigga out here gettin to it”… & all I can seem to do after the realization of what we’re really dealing with sets back in, all I can do is shake my head. Shake my head at the nigga(s) who played part in your passing…. shake my head at the city you gave so much of your heart to failing you… & shake my head just at the simple fact that two babies father was taken from them prematurely over nothing. You deserved better bro !!! You were worth a lot more than most understood until 3 1/2 weeks ago. Everyone that knew you & got to spend real time with you knows 100% of what I’m saying to be true. You were one of the good guys through & through. A pure heart… a gentle soul… a true king of & for the people……. Gone, wayyyyy too soon. These posts won’t stop. This won’t fade. Woke up this morning & asked my son @iamjusticetaylor what he wanted for his 12th birthday….. he said “Can I stay home today & just ride around with you in the #NipseyBlue lambo ?” I said “where you wanna go ?” & he replied “I don’t care dad, I just wanna be with you & celebrate his life instead of mine today”. That brought me to tears…. Couldn’t believe that came out his mouth & that on his birthday, his only wish is to put himself to the side to honor Nip. I then looked down for a quick moment to wipe my face & he said “Chin up dad” #TheMarathonContinues 🏁 & that put a smile on my face I wish the world was there to see. I’m so proud to be your father son, I love you with everything God has instilled in me & I am more than delighted to chauffeur you around the city on your 12th birthday !!! This is the part of it all that saddens me the most. We lost our brother, friend, and a legendary artist but two beautiful babies lost their father. And although nip had an unselfish mission & dedication to changing his neighborhood & bettering the hoods & cities around him, I know he wouldn’t have been okay with leaving his kids. His entire world revolved around fatherhood. His smile & daily energy was fueled by that love. I keep zoomin in on the pic and all I can wonder is what was said for those genuine smiles to be so vibrant. Whatever it was I can relate to the feeling because my children give me that exact same joy but what I can’t imagine is them being left here in this cold world without me in it to guide them through life. All it takes is one jealous Judas hearted nigga & his hatred of himself to tear a family apart in just a few short moments. I hate that this happened to you bro & I wish I could strangle that lil coward nigga myself every time I think about it. My emotions are scattered daily & pulling them back in & putting all the pieces back together has proven to be very arduous. It’s like one day I’m in a decent space seeing all the love you’re being shown worldwide… then I see an image or have a thought & then I’m filled with anger & discomfort. Maybe I’m rambling & if so I apologize but for those reading this daily, these open letters somewhat help me push through to tomorrow.
