Eminem Takes Aim at MGK With ‘Kill Shot,’ Jay Electronica Responds [Listen]

When it comes to verbal manslaughter, Eminem has always been ill so his latest jab at MGK was no different.

On Friday (Sept 14), after waiting for more than a week, Eminem has released his response to MGK’s “Rap Devil” with his own on record decimation, “Kill Shot.”The four-minute record takes aim at several lines spit by MGK, including the line that calling out Em for not visiting his hometown.

“Last time you saw 8 Mile was at home on a treadmill.”

In response, Em, says, “I’m really sorry you want me to have a heart attack/Was watchin’ 8 Mile on my NordicTrack/Realized I forgot to call you back.”

But it didn’t stop there, Eminem pointing out MGK’s lack of chart success by throwing a jab at Diddy who signed him to Bad Boy in 2012.

“The day you put out a hit’s the day Diddy admits that he put the hit out that got Pac killed.”

Although Eminem makes a point to show love to Diddy at the end of the track saying, “Oh, and I’m just playin’, Diddy. You know I love you,” some Hip-Hop fans didn’t take too kindly towards the Tupac line. One fan, in particular, was Jay Electronica, who issued a swift warning to Eminem via Twitter over the jab.

“@eminem, how dare you accuse diddy of killing tupac while you completely look pass jimmy iovine and those who profited from his death the MOST. You best tread carefully Son, before i come tear your ivory tower down like Sulaiman done the Templar Knights. #ripProof”

MGK set the rap world ablaze when he dropped his diss record, “Rap Devil”, in response to Eminem’s initial diss “calling Eminem washed up with misplaced anger and also accused the Detroit veteran of blackballing him in the industry over a tweet in 2012 about his daughter.

“Let’s call Sway ask why he can’t go up to Shade 45 because of you/Let’s ask Interscope how you had Paul Rosenberg trying to shelf me/Still can’t cover up the fact the last four albums as bad as your selfie/ Now tell me what do you stand for?/I know you can’t stand yourself.”
