Drake Says He Will Return to the Studio After Touring

More music. While Scorpion continues to dominate the charts, Drake is already itching to get back in the studio.

During the Nashville stop on his “Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour” on Tuesday (Sept. 18), the 6 God announced that he will be hitting the lab with Memphis producer Tay Keith as soon as the tour is over.

“I’m about to go finish this tour, I’ma go home,” he told the crowd at Bridgestone Arena. “I’ma spend some time with my family, with my friends, and I promise you that the next thing I’m doing is going right back to the studio with Tay Keith from Memphis, Tennessee and we gon’ make us some new music.”

Drake has worked with Tay Keith on hits including Scorpion‘s “Nonstop,” the BlocBoy JB-assisted “Look Alive,” and his “Sicko Mode” collaboration with Travis Scott off Astroworld.

But his studio plans will have to wait until Nov. 17, when the “Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour” with Migos wraps in Atlanta.

Just this week, Drake broke another chart record with “In My Feelings,” which tops the Billboard Hot 100 for a 10th week. He now leads the Hot 100 for a 29th week in 2018, the most time atop the chart in a single year.
