Dr. Dre's Eldest Daughter Claims She's Homeless and Living Out of Her Car

Dr. Dre is being called out by another woman in his life, his daughter LaTanya Young. The 38-year-old daughter of Dr. Dre revealed to the Daily Mail that she is living out of a rented car and has sent her four children to live with friends.

LaTanya works as a delivery driver for DoorDash and Uber Eats while also operating as an assembler at a warehouse. However, she has not been enough to rent an apartment in California. She also states that she has called Dr. Dre and asked for financial help but has not received any in 18 months. In addition, Young states she has not seen her father in 18 years and communicates with the rapper through his team. LaTanya’s mother, Lisa Johnson, and Dr. Dre split when she was five years old.

“My kids are staying with friends – they are not living in the car, it’s just me,” LaTanya said. “I’m taking odd jobs just to make it now – I got paid $15 an hour as an assembler at the warehouse. I’m trying to keep my head above water. I’ve been in debt for a while.”

LaTanya revealed the rental of the SUV is $2,300 for three weeks and has currently on paid for one week. LaTanya and her children moved to California from Nevada, hoping for an opportunity.

“I’m just trying to communicate with him and see if he wants to talk to his grandkids,” LaTanya said. “My kids are old enough to know who he is. They are in shock that he doesn’t want anything to do with them.”

Last week, Dr. Dre’s ex-wife, Nicole Young, received her spousal support agreement as Dre was ordered to pay nearly $300,000 a month in spousal support.

According to The Blast, both parties were on hand for the hearing, which outlined how much would be spent on temporary spousal support. The final number was $293,306 to his wife, due every first of the month.

“[Dre] is ordered to pay to the [Nicole] spousal support in the sum of $293,306.00 per month, payable on the first of each month, commencing August 1, 2021,” the order reads. That number equates to just over $3.5 million annually before any additional expenses.

The payments are scheduled to run “until the party receiving support remarries or enters into a new domestic partnership, death of either party.” Dr. Dre is also responsible for supporting Nicole’s health insurance, similar to her during their marriage. Dre must also continue to pay for the Malibu and Pacific Palisades homes, in which Nicole resides.
