Fresh off the announcement of her divorce from Offset and receiving five Grammy nominations, Cardi B started her week with an appearance on CBS This Morning on December 9. She is seen taking pictures with her beloved fans in the street and revisiting the supermarket in the Bronx where she had her first job.
Surprisingly the 26-year-old rapper spoke on her ongoing beef with Nicki Minaj which has been brewing for over a year and reached its peak in September at a New York Fashion Week event that finished with Cardi tossing her shoe and the Queens emcee and leaving with a knot on her head. “It’s unnecessary, but am I ever embarrassed about anything that I do? No,” she said in the new interview.
After the episode, Minaj called it “something so mortifying and so humiliating to go through in front of a bunch of upper-echelon people” on her Queen Radio show.
Cardi did not mention anything about the Migos rapper, but this was presumably recorded before she even announced their split.
The CBS segment ends with Cardi B visiting her old High School and giving the students encouraging words.
