New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is reportedly in police custody after getting charged on multiple counts of soliciting prostitution.
According to reports, Kraft faces two counts and landed in police cuffs Friday following a recent Florida massage parlor sting.
Kraft was arrested in connection to a recent bust in Florida massage parlors that were used for prostitution and human trafficking. Kerr said video evidence shows Kraft involved in sex acts at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa. Kraft, 77, was in Florida for a fundraiser for the Dana-Farber Insititute that was held on Saturday. Kraft was also in attendance at the NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte, North Carolina over the weekend. (Sports Illustrated)
Reports claim law enforcement spent the past few months putting the sting together.
Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the operation — including Homeland Security, the IRS, the Jupiter P.D., Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office and more. Officials say the women accused of running the sex trafficking ring operated out of local spas which touted themselves as massage parlors. The investigation took roughly 8 months and officials say they’ve identified more than 100 men suspected of being “Johns.” (TMZ)
