Bow Wow Speaks On Not Being a Part of ‘Millennium Tour’

The recently announced reunion of boy band B2K has created a major buzz. B2K along with Pretty Ricky, Mario, Lloyd, Chingy & Ying Yang Twin will be playing dates together, bringing back the nostalgia of R&B and Hip-Hop of the early 2000s. One artist missing from the list is Bow Wow.

His omission from the tour was puzzling giving that Bow Wow and B2K were a part of the Scream Tours. Also, Bow Wow and Omarion had successful collaborations including their joint project Face Off. Speaking on his Instagram story Bow Wow responded,

“I know everybody wanna know why I’m not going on the tour, and this, that, and the third…it was never brought to my attention. But y’all know I’ve got a lot of big plans for 2019. I’m not really into doing a lot of things that I’ve done in my past. I like the iconic things to just stick in the past. So with that being said – new music, new content, and that’s all that I’m doing. You know, I’m just giving y’all nothing but new s***. “Let the old thing be the old. You know, like Hov said, ‘Y’all want that old s***, buy the old s***.”

In a statement to The Shade Room, Bow Wow congratulated all the participants:

“I mean its all R&B acts,” he said Friday (Dec. 21). “I think it’s dope if it’s true that O & them back but it’s an all R&B tour. I wish them the best, [this] should bring back memories. It’s good to see folks still working and people DO want to hear that good classic R&B music! It’s a W.”
