In 2019, around 40,000 songs were reportedly uploaded to Spotify daily. That translates to 83 full days of new music, each day, on Spotify alone. Great news for anyone looking for new tracks to listen to. Less-than-great news for artists looking to break through the noise. Or labels and organizers looking to discover new talent to work with.
Making it in the music biz usually meant “talent + hard work + luck,” but music tech startup Viberate.com decided to kick out the luck factor, and replace it with “information.”
This week, they launched Viberate analytics. The tool collects and examines important social and streaming metrics (followers, charts, views, likes, the works), and turns accurate data into clear and powerful insights.
“To make it in the industry today, you have to have the right info,” explains Matej Gregorcic, Viberate CEO. “But getting and interpreting relevant data shouldn’t be rocket science. That’s why we made a tool that does the heavy-lifting, and helps everyone make smarter career decisions.”
