50 Cent Wants to Seize Teairra Mari’s Assets to Collect $37,000 Debt

The saga continues.

50 Cent is still trying to collect his money from Teairra Mari. According to court documents, obtained by Radar, 50’s lawyers have filed a writ of execution against the former “Love & Hip Hop” star in the amount of $37,733.

In 2019, 50 was awarded $30,000 in attorney fees after he prevailed in a revenge porn lawsuit. An additional $4,392.50 in sanctions was added to the judgment after Mari failed to abide by the court rules.

The debt has now accrued interest in the amount of $2,597.80 and Teairra has yet to pay 50, who is trying to seize her assets in an attempt to collect his money.

In 2018, Mari sued 50 and her ex-boyfriend Akbar Abdul-Ahad, accusing them of engaging in a plan to sexually objectify and humiliate her. She claimed Abdul-Ahad logged into her Instagram account and posted a sexually-graphic video and photo with “ejaculate” on her face. After Mari removed the content, 50 reposted the material on his own Instagram page.

50 denied all allegations of wrongdoing. A judge ultimately ruled in his favor and ordered Mari to pay $30,618 to cover part of his legal bills. But collecting the money hasn’t been easy. The rapper has taken to social media multiple times to demand payment and even had Mari turn over her financial records.

During a May 2019 hearing, Teairra claimed she was “broke broke” and unable to make the payment. 50 responded by filing a lien against the singer, alleging she was trying to “conceal her assets” and had “no intention of paying her debts.”
