Earlier this month, 50 revealed his intent to bet on Adrien Broner in his upcoming Manny Pacquiao fight.

Barring any setbacks, Manny and Adrien’s fight is going down in January.

Pacquiao, returning to fight in the United States for the first time in two years and for the first time since his recent signing with adviser Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions, will defend his secondary welterweight world title against former four-division titlist Broner on Jan. 19 in the main event of a Showtime PPV card (9 p.m. ET) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao’s motivation for the fight is to remind fans and critics alike he’s still nasty in the ring.

Speaking at a press conference in New York, Pacquiao said: “I want to entertain people and give a good show on 19 January … I want to fight the greatest fighters and greatest opponents in the world and one of them is Adrien Broner.” (The Guardian)
