XXXTentacion’s Posthumous Album ‘Skins’ Due in December

Six months after his death, XXXTentacion’s posthumous album will see a release.

The 20-year-old rapper’s third album Skins, a follow-up to March’s ?, is set to arrive on Dec. 7, according to a global iTunes pre-order page. The album contains 10 songs and has a run time of 17 minutes.

The brief length may be intentional. XXX had previously revealed that he planned to make the album “super short.” “It’s literally gonna be a minute,” he can be heard saying in an audio clip.

Skins‘ first single, “Bad,” will reportedly arrive Friday (Nov. 9) along with the pre-order. A teaser for the song was posted on his Instagram Story before being removed and replaced with a teaser for merch that shows two tags that read “Bad,” which were designed by XXX himself. There is also a countdown on shopxxxtentacion.com.

“Soon…handling with care. But I promise you it’s worth it,” reads the Instagram Story caption. “Oh by the way I designed all of those myself.”

XXX was working on the album prior to his death in June. Since then, he can be heard on posthumous collaborations with Lil Pump and Swae Lee (“Arms Around You”), Lil Peep (“Falling Down”), and Lil Wayne (“Don’t Cry”). Kanye West has also said that XXX will appear on his upcoming album Yandhi, and producer Mally Mall teased collaborations with Rihanna and The Weeknd.
