Astroworld is officially open for business.
Thirteen five years after the Houston theme park was shut down, Travis Scott brought it back to life during opening night of his “Astroworld: Wish You Were Here” tour at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Md. on Thursday (Nov. 8).
The tour, which Travis billed as a theme park revival, features all the thrills of an amusement park. In addition to delivering hits like “Sicko Mode,” “Stargazing,” and “Antidote,” the Houston rapper performed on a rollercoaster, resembling a Ferris wheel, which was erected on stage. Seated in a moving chair, he rode upside down and even invited a lucky fan onstage to try it out. According to Travis, a fan will get to ride the wheel every night on the tour.
“FUCKKKK BALTIMORE DAY 1 RIDE 1 OF MANY AND IM PICKING AND FAN TO RIDE ERRRVYYY NIGHT. !!! LLETS GOOO,” Travis wrote on Instagram.

The North American arena trek, which also features Trippie Redd, Gunna, and Sheck Wes, continues across the country, with a stop at the inaugural Astroworld Festival in Travis’ hometown of Houston on Nov. 17. It will continue on to Madison Square Garden in New York City on Nov. 27 before concluding at the Forum in Los Angeles on Dec. 19.
Travis’ girlfriend Kylie Jenner will also be selling Astroworld-branded Lip Kits at future shows. The custom black boxes, which were previewed on Instagram, read “I went to Astroworld and all i got with was this f**kin lip kit.”
