Houston rapper Travis Scott is really making his Astroworld tour a must-see. The hip-hop star went to social media last night (November 8) to share footage from his opening show.

Last summer, rap star Nicki Minaj ripped Scott for having Jenner support his Astroworld album with tour plugs.

I looked at the numbers the Carters, Kanye, Nas, etc recently did. Travis sold 200K in his first week of clothes alone. I spoke to him last night & he said he’s been selling clothes b4 the music. Billboard says they’ll change the rules cuz of this, so it should be changed now!

In September, Nicki explained her frustrations toward Travis Scott over an album sales dispute.
“When someone says how they feel they’re not always upset or angry. I felt like I wanted to punch him in his f*cking face because the thing is – it’s about what’s right, what’s wrong and what’s fair. I’ve had a number two album and I’ve never cared. It’s just that when you have a number two album to someone that’s selling shirts and merch and selling passes for a tour that’s not even announced yet, it feels like you’re being tricked. It feels like someone’s playing a game and beating you at a game. I don’t feel like you’re selling music. I want to sell music. Yes. He sold a lot of t-shirts and sweaters and tour passes and we’re not going to have that. Yes. So I got to say he didn’t have the number one album, Queen is the number one and by the way I lost out on 12 hours of sales the first week because it was a secret album. I was going to drop it while it was on Queen Radio and then I didn’t and then 12 hours later it came out. To do such a huge number is a big deal. I want to make sure I say this because sometimes people think you’re ungrateful and I’m the most grateful person in the world. I love being grateful and remembering that things could be worse. I ‘m one of those people who, I get it. I don’t like being bullied and I don’t like being taken advantage of and sometimes people use scare tactics against you, because they know, especially as a black woman, that people will call you angry or bitter, and so now it’s almost like we’re not allowed to defend ourselves or stand up for ourselves and I’m not going to have that.”
