Whoopi Goldberg Confirms 'Sister Act 3,' Wants Lizzo and Nicki Minaj in the Movie

Whoopi Goldberg wants the Internet to leave her name out of rumors of being a client of Jeffrey Epstein. Speaking on The View, Goldberg attempted to clear her name.

“I’m just gonna say, there’s been a lot of stuff recently,” Goldberg said. “I don’t know what I’ve done to anybody, but apparently there are a lot of these kind of sites that are satire sites. But people don’t realize that they can be harmful, so let me just get my part out. I have to explain, because there was a fake list, and I’m on it.

“Apparently. I don’t know. they said I was on the island, and I’m like, ‘I don’t go anywhere!’”

The long-promised release of the Jeffrey Epstein documents occurred on Wednesday. According to CNN, this is the first set of docs to be released, which will have a total of 200 names of people who interacted with the deceased sex trafficker.

The documents are expected to list nearly 200 names, including accusers, businesspeople, politicians, and more.

The initial documents did not bring shock, but records showed Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and Michael Jackson had interactions with Epstein, according to The Blast. Clinton was stated to have dinner with a woman on Epstein’s island. A woman stated she met The King of Pope at Epstein’s home in Palm Beach.

Insider the document is a deposition from Joanna Sjoberg, who stated she was touched by Prince Andrew on her breast while taking photos, and she also was told Clinton “likes them young, referring to girls.”

Clinton’s spokesman confirmed a visit in 2019 but was unaware of “terrible crimes.” Representatives for Prince Andrew have not made a statement.

Kyle Rittenhouse Plans to Sue Whoopi Goldberg and Other Media Figures and Platforms Over “Lies”

Kyle Rittenhouse, the 19-year-old who killed two people and injured one at a Black Lives Matter rally in 2020, recently announced that he plans to sue multiple “politicians, celebrities, [and] athletes” over calling him a “murderer.”

According to The Guardian, Rittenhouse told Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson that he is planning on launching the “Media Accountability Project,” an initiative to hold members of the press accountable for the “lies” he claims they spread about him.

“Me and my team have decided to launch the Media Accountability Project,” Rittenhouse said on the show, “as a tool to help fundraise and hold the media accountable for the lies they say and deal with them in court.”

When asked who he would be coming after, Rittenhouse said that he and his team would be taking legal action against  “a few politicians, celebrities, athletes,” and named Whoopi Goldberg specifically. “Right now, we’re looking at quite a few politicians, celebrities, athletes. Whoopi Goldberg is on the list,” he said. “She called me a murderer after I was acquitted by a jury of my peers.”

After Rittenhouse was acquitted on his murder charges in November of last year, Goldberg maintained her stance on The View. “Even all the excuses in the world does not change the fact that three people got shot,” Goldberg said. “Two people were murdered. To me, it’s murder. I’m sorry.”

Not only does Rittenhouse want to go after those who called him a “murderer,” but he wants to go after people that have called him a white supremacist as well. “We are going to hold everybody who’s lied about me accountable, such as everybody who’s lied, called me a white supremacist,” he said. “They’re all going to be held accountable, and we’re going to handle them in a courtroom.”

Whoopi Goldberg Suggests Wakanda-Themed Disney Park in Honor of Chadwick Boseman

Disney is reportedly unsure of how to continue the Black Panther franchise without Chadwick Boseman because he was reportedly preparing to film the sequel. But Whoopi Goldberg has the perfect solution.

“Dear people in charge of building NEW experiences [at] Disneyland and World, we don’t really need another Frozen land but what we could use is [Wakanda],” Goldberg posted to her Twitter account.

Goldberg’s Wakanda-themed Disney park idea is just one of the ways the late actor’s fans are proposing to honor him.

There’s a petition with over 40,000 signatures for Boseman to replace a Confederate statue in South Carolina in honor of him and his hometown. “The Confederate Monument belongs in a museum but has no right to be displayed there,” the petition reads.

“I believe the community should come together to honor someone from Anderson, South Carolina, that was able to change the movie industry. He opened many doors for many young Black people with his leading roles in movies such as Black Panther or Marshall. It is only natural that his hometown honors what he did. There is no need for political controversy in this decision,” the petition’s organizer wrote.

Robert Downey Jr. said it himself: “And Black Panther is, hands down, it is the crowing achievement of the Marvel Universe, and I say that with all due respect to all the films that have been made, including my own.” So a Wakanda-themed park at Disney certainly sounds fitting.

Doja Cat’s Father Reportedly Claims Story About Them Not Knowing Each Other is ‘Made Up’

There’s not much public information about Doja Cat’s relationship with her father but according to the pop star, he’s estranged.

Doja recently met Whoopi Goldberg and told the veteran actress that she knows and co-starred with her father, Dumisani Dlamini, in Sarafina! “I’m just thinking about my dad ’cause he was in Sarafina! so seeing you and meeting you is like the craziest thing,” Doja told Whoopi.

The “Like That” artist added, “I didn’t get to meet him but you did,” and Whoopi was also taken aback by the coincidence. But Dlamini says that’s cap and claims he’s been trying to reconnect with her before she catapulted to stardom.

“I have been looking for my daughter as well,” he reportedly said. “You mustn’t forget these Americans. Americans will always want to have something to cause a stir so that she stays in the media and is talked about around the world.” Dumisani was also told about Doja meeting Whoopi Goldberg and mentioning that she doesn’t know him. He called it a “made-up thing.”

“I have tried to search for my baby and the company that runs her entertainment has been blocking me. They know that if I could get hold of her, maybe she will disappear from the picture… I know my daughter, wherever she is, is looking for me,” Dumisani added. He even claims that he had a previous conversation with Doja Cat. “She got hold of me. We spoke. We connected. Now, at this time when she is there and on top, she has to grab the whole world[‘s attention], especially in S.A. because she is a South African and her daddy is here. It’s a made-up thing.”

Whoopi Goldberg was just not having it today. On the latest episode of The View, Meghan McCain was spouting her usual talk over someone if they disagree antics and Goldberg had to intervene and strenuously tell her to “stop talking.”

From what we can gather (no pun), Sunny Hostin was trying to make a point, but McCain refused to get her an uninterrupted word in. After trying to be civil about, Goldberg resorted to saying, “Girl, please stop talking. Please stop talking right now.”

You can watch a clip of the back and forth, and Goldberg’s subsequent sonning, below.

It should comes as a surprise to absolutely no one that Twitter was elated at Goldberg putting her foot down and acted like the adult on the panel. We must mention that McCain kept yapping even after she was scolded, because that’s what petulant children tend to do.

In fact, Whoopi had to cut to commercial because McCain still couldn’t figure out the instructions.

Meghan McCain Tried To Flex White Privilege, Shutdown By Whoopi

Meghan McCain has been spurned by many fans and guests, but when she tried challenging the flow of the show, that’s where Whoopi drew the line.

On Tuesday (Oct. 28), the ladies of the daytime talk show The View were discussing the topic of national security when things seemed to take a heated turn. During the discussion, the women began talking over each other, so Whoopi, who was moderator, decided to call a timeout in order for everyone to be heard.

“We’re starting to do that thing,” Goldberg said, making a gesture with her fingers interlinked signifying bumping heads.

It was at that point that Meghan McCain thought her white privilege would shine through until Whoopi adjusted herself in her seat and decided to school her on how to have a civilized conversation.

“I don’t know what that means, ‘this thing,’” Meghan McCain said.

“It means you’re talking over each other,” Whoopi said, leading McCain to reply, “Well, it’s ‘The View.’”

“You know what,” Goldberg continued, “Let me tell you something about ‘The View.’”

As viewers began to clutch their pearls, Meghan continued to try to talk over her legendary colleague before Whoopi decided she had enough and cut to commercial.

“This show has always had the ability to have different points of view,” Whoopi said, “Which we respect around the table, and when we talk to each other, we also exhibit respect.”

When McCain continued to interrupt, Goldberg announced, “We’ll be back.”

Of course, Twitter had a lot to say about the exchange, calling out McCain for disrespecting Whoopi and celebrating the check heard around the world.

Whoopi Goldberg Gets Meg McCain All The Way Together Like The Nun from ‘Sister Act 2’

Remember when Sister Mary Clarence got the class all the way together in Sister Act 2? And Rita Watson (aka Lauryn Hill) was ready to snap on Whoopi Goldberg. Whoopi wasn’t having that and got them all the way together.

Well, recently Whoopi tapped back into that same spirit to get Meg McCain all the way together.

While engaged in a hot topic story on The View, she tried to quiet the ladies down and McCain took exception. At first, Goldberg tried to ease out of it, but eventually she had to check old girl. Check out the exchange.

Oh yes… Twitter replied.

Whoopi Goldberg, Chris Rock Lead The Latest Class of the New Jersey Hall of Fame

Comedian Chris Rock, actresses Whoopi Goldberg and Anne Hathaway, Seinfeld star Jason Alexander, and the Anthony Bourdain are among the latest nominees to the New Jersey Hall of Fame.
The organization recently announced its list of 50 nominees for the 11th class on Friday, and inductees will be announced this coming January.

Other nominees include actor Danny Aiello; singer Patti Smith; “Jaws” author Peter Benchley; writer Gay Talese; former NBA player Rick Barry; former NBA Commissioner David Stern and former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue.

In the category of arts and letters, nominees include: Stephen Crane, author of “Red Badge of Courage”; journalist and poet Joyce Kilmer; author Fran Lebowitz; Anne Morrow Lindbergh, the author, aviator, and wife of aviator Charles Lindbergh; author George R.R. Martin, whose series of fantasy was adapted into the television series “Game of Thrones”; and mathematician John Forbes Nash, Jr.

In the enterprise category, nominees include Leonard S. Coleman, Jr., former president of baseball’s National League; restaurateur and philanthropist Tim McLoone; and cardiac surgeon Dr. Victor Parsonnet.

In the performing arts category, nominees include actor Peter Dinklage from “Game of Thrones”; rock band The Smithereens; and singer Phoebe Snow.
Congratulations to all of the New Jersey Hall of Fame nominees.

Who says sneaker collecting is a young man’s game? Tell that to the likes of Chi McBride, Fat Joe, and Whoopi Goldberg. That’s right, the Oscar-winning actress loves her some exclusive footwear and explains to Joe La Puma just how far back her love for kicks goes.

“Sneakers for me have always been a part of my life. Whether it was with my brother who always wore the Chucks and always wanting to wear them and them not having them for girls. And now seeing this amazing explosion of [women’s] sneakers and they’re being accepted as footwear for any time.”

Respect.

She’d need a gang of footwear to ensure she puts all kinds of hot foots in asses while on The View so we’re not surprised by her taste in sneakers either.
