Chrisean Rock, the rapper known for her controversial behavior, has found herself at the center of assault allegations after an incident at Tamar Braxton’s recent concert. The incident at Braxton’s concert has sparked a heated online debate and raised questions about Rock’s behavior and the consequences she may face.
The incident occurred on Nov. 10 during Tamar Braxton’s Love and War 10-Year Anniversary Tour concert in Los Angeles, California.
Braxton had playfully teased her performance on social media the day before, building up excitement among her fans. However, things took a turn when Chrisean Rock, who was scheduled to perform, became upset after realizing her song had not been included in the setlist.
According to a member of Braxton’s team who witnessed the altercation, Rock stormed into Braxton’s dressing room, demanding an explanation for the oversight. When James Wright Chanel tried to diffuse the situation, Rock allegedly became aggressive and physically assaulted him.
Chanel suffered a chipped tooth and a bloody nose as a result of the altercation. The eyewitness recounted:
“…So everybody’s trying to calm her down… so then James is like, ‘Oh… nobody tried to shade you. We didn’t know that you were supposed to sing.’”
Chanel, best known for his viral reaction to Patti LaBelle’s “Patti Pies,” took to Instagram Live to address the incident, claiming to be an innocent bystander and expressing his bewilderment at the violent encounter. He did not mention Rock by name but indirectly confirmed her involvement in the assault.
In response to the allegations, the “Vibe” rapper insisted that she was scheduled to perform and referred to the assault accusations as “false narratives.” However, the incident has garnered significant attention, leading Rock to deactivate her social media accounts.
Furthermore, Rock and her DJ, DJ Sky, known from Zeus’ Baddies franchise, addressed the incident, dubbing Tamar and her team as “a waste of time.” Chrisean added that she’s weary of being utilized solely to boost others’ “numbers.” Rock further conveyed:
“Everyone got me f**ked up.”
Fans quickly took to social media, where one Twitter (X) user commented, “I blame y’all for making Chrisean think she bigger than Tamar Braxton. Like it’s time to be so forreal.”
Meanwhile, Tamar Braxton expressed her love and support for Chanel, commenting on his Instagram:
“ Love you beyond life.”
In response to the assault and support of her dear friend, Wright, Tamar emotionally apologized and recounted the events that led up to the fight in which she did confirm that Wright was indeed assaulted by Chrisean. She stated that she saw Chrisean as a little sister because she was also from Baltimore and that she never judged Chrisean for who she was. She said:
“ I really wish she would’ve hit me instead.”
Rock is already on probation in the state of Oklahoma for a drug case in which she was found guilty for charges of “possession of a controlled dangerous substance without a tax stamp and possession with the intent to distribute.”
There haven’t been any legal suits regarding the incident yet. This is an updating story.
Chrisean Rock’s recent music release caused controversy and targeted her on-again, off-again boyfriend Blueface.
The song and music video shed light on her experience as a single mother and addressed alleged neglect from the California rapper during her pregnancy.

The Braxton family seems to be at odds with the now ex-boyfriend of singer, Tamar Braxton. So much so that Toni Braxton publically shamed David Adesfeso in an Instagram post that read, “David, You Weasel…you Ferret. You are beyond contempt. Once again, DO NOT include my children in your SHENANIGANS. Please leave my family ALONE!”
Later on, Towanda Braxton addressed the post on her Instagram live. “Yes Toni is ok, she is just really pissed off with David, as we all are. We don’t appreciate or agree or condone the way that he has handled the situation, it’s even deeper than you guys can imagine,” she stated.
According to The Blast, Adefeso sent a statement from his team and had this to say, “David wishes the Braxton family nothing but the best and has moved on from this ordeal stronger, “it begin. “He’s focused on justice for Nigeria (sars) and releasing his app, Sootchy, that will address wealth disparity and help reduce educational debt within minority communities.”
What allegedly caused Toni Braxton to write her message publicly on Instagram was the news that Adefeso served Tamar Braxton legal papers. Big sis doesn’t play that! The Blast reports that although Adesfeso urged authorities to not go to Toni’s home, they did so anyway.
How does Tamar feel? The singer went on her social media to address the controversy. “As much as I understand everybody dragging him through the mud, and saying what they need to say because of what he said on his live, the other part is still present too,” Tamar said referring to the fact that David was there for her this summer when she went to the hospital for an alleged suicide attempt.
Tamar also lets it be known that she hasn’t spoken to Adefeso since August 30th, and ask for everyone to allow her to heal in private. “I will tell my story when I feel the need to tell my story, so everyone involved thank you, I love you, but — I would like to heal in private.”

Tamar Braxton is being accused of causing $30K worth of damage to her fiancé, David Adefeso’s Rolls Royce. It doesn’t stop there, Adefeso is also making domestic violence claims against Tamar, saying that he has been a victim of domestic assault by the singer.
It seems to be a tough time for Tamar as of right now, considering the fact that the signer was released from the hospital from a reported suicide attempt. Upon her release, Tamar thanked her friends, family, and fiance for being by her side, but here we are days later with Adefeso filing a restraining order. The news that originally surfaced the internet stated that Adefeso was the one who physically assaulted Braxton, but Adefeso took to Instagram live to clear his name.
“What was said about me grabbing Tamar or anybody else, it is a complete and absolute falsehood,” he begins. “I’ve never, ever ever, and will never will put my hand on a woman. Ever. I’ll speak the truth, and here”s the truth. I’ve been a victim of domestic violence .. domestic assault. A blow to my neck, my jugular. That what carries blood to your brain. When you’re hit there, it discombobulates you. I thought I was gonna crash. It happened when I was driving fast.”
Adefeso then claims that he was allegedly, secretly recorded and that the recording had been leaked to his family and, “other people.”
“Tamar was in the car, my mom started praying,” he said. “Only to find out that after the blow, I was being secretly recorded. The tapes of me in distress, in pain, calling my mom, are being sent to my family,” Adefeso stated.
Adefeso says that he can’t go into detail due to an ongoing investigation, but he does let viewers know of the $30K worth of damage done to his vehicle. “my car was destroyed. I drive as Rolls Royce as many of you know. Almost $30 thousand in damage.” He also lets viewers know that this is labeled as a “criminal case, due to all of the damage and physical assault.
Before closing out, Adefeso lets it be known that despite all of what is going on, his love for Tamar never will go away. “I love Tamar from the bottom of my heart, I always have, and I will continue to.”

Speaking out for the first time, David Adefesco, Tamar Braxton’s boyfriend, opens up about the singer/reality star being hospitalized after an alleged suicide attempt.
Tamar was reportedly found unresponsive and unconscious by her boyfriend on July 16th. LAPD confirmed a call around 9:45 p.m. that a 43-year old woman had a medical emergency due to “possible overdose” of prescription pills and alcohol.
Braxton was staying at the Ritz Carlton Residences in Downtown Los Angeles with David, who made the call.
“Tamar is currently receiving the best available medical attention to address those struggles and strengthen her mental health, and her family by her side throughout her treatment,” David said.
The Braxton Family Values star’s boyfriend has been by her side since she has been in the hospital last week and is supporting her in her recovery and doctor’s decisions about her ongoing treatment.
“On behalf of Tamar Braxton, I want to thank her fans and the public for the ongoing thoughts and prayers. Tamar is a beautifully talented woman, a devoted mother, a loving girlfriend, a dear sister and a special friend to countless people,” David says.
“This is an extremely difficult time for Tamar and her family as she navigates professional and personal struggles including her battle with depression,” he continues.
The reality star’s boyfriend pointed out that mental health issues are very common, and hopes that Tamar’s fans, and the public, will continue to support her through her ongoing recovery.

Tamar Braxton was reportedly hospitalized after allegedly attempting suicide, according to The Blast.
Sources claim Tamar’s boyfriend, David Adefeso found her unresponsive at the Ritz Carlton Residences in Downtown Los Angeles they’re staying at.
A 911 call was made reporting that his girlfriend was drinking and took an unknown amount of pills. The Blast reports that it was a possible suicide attempt.
LAPD told the outlet that the emergency call was for a 43-year-old woman and the medical emergency was noted as a “possible overdose.”

Tamera Mowry-Housley is the latest host to leave ‘The Real’ daytime talk show. The veteran actress has co-hosted the show since its 2013 debut. She took to Instagram on Monday to confirm her exit from the Emmy-Award winning talk show following the then-alleged reports.
“For seven years, my home and heart has been at The Real, wrote Mowry-Housely. “The friendships that I’ve made there will last a lifetime, and the people that I’ve had the blessing to interview have changed my life for the better. I’m so proud of what all the ladies and I have accomplished there, including two well-deserved NAACP Image Awards and a Daytime Emmy. However, all good things must come to an end, and it’s with a bittersweet smile that I announce that I am moving on from The Real.”
She goes on to thank her fellow co-host for the time shared on the award winning showing.
“To my fellow hosts, I love you, I will miss you, and I will always be there for you. Thank you for teaching me, supporting me, and loving all of me. Sisters forever. I’ll be rooting for you, as I look forward to spending more time with my family, pursuing amazing new opportunities, and embarking on the next chapter of my life.”
Mowry-Housley expressed how she had no plans to share her departure following the shocking death news of her dear friend and Glee actress, Naya Rivera.
The ‘Sister Sister’ actress is the third host to leave the show since its beginning in 2013. Amanda Seales, who joined the show back in January, announced her exit just six months following her debut. Tamar Braxton left the show back in 2016 as part of the show’s original group of hosts. There is no word on whether or not someone will fill the absent seats of Mowry-Housley and Seales.
And then there were 3. Loni Love, Adrieene Houghton and Jeannie Mai remain as co-hosts of The Real.
