Insane Clown Posse Returns to Their Original Sound on The 6th & Final Joker’s Card of the 2nd Deck “The Naught” (Album Review)

Detroit horrorcore duo, Juggalo Championship Wrestling founders & the longest reigning 2-time JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champions Insane Clown Posse have officially unveiled their 17th studio LP & the final Joker’s Card of the 2nd Deck. Consisting of JCW Commissioner Violent J & the shortest reigning JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion Shaggy 2 Dope, many don’t know that 3 other members came & went during the first 5 years of the group’s inception. Not only would The Duke of the Wicked & the Southside Strangla go on to create seminal wicked shit albums like The First 6, they also gained an extremely loyal fanbase in the process & their self-owned Psychopathic Records became an independent hip hop powerhouse as the label’s roster continued to grow until they wanted to focus more on their own legacy. Commemorating the 25th annual Gathering of the Juggalos or the Gathering of Legends kicking off tomorrow & The 2 Day War between JCW & Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) beginning later this weekend, The Naught will explore the afterlife in a concept differing from The Wraith’s exhibitions of Shangri-La & Hell’s Pit.

The title track produced by Shaggytheairhead after the intro opens with a trap song breaking down the titular character’s meaning whereas “Watch Me” reunites with longtime collaborator Mike E. Clark talking about the wicked shit splitting your shit up throwing it back to the Bang! Pow! Boom! & The Mighty Death Pop! days instrumentally. “Everybody Dies” moves forward with a 6-minute rap rock-influenced Violent J solo cut making the point that we’re all gonna meet our demise one day just before the semi-boom bap influenced “Happy Fun Day” uses wordplay for the Duke to ask what exactly others find wrong with him in having bloody fun.

“Only Wicked Shit” goes for an EDM trap direction thanks to Brian Kuma so both of the clowns can represent their style of music they’ve been making for over 3 decades & after the “Flashback” skit, “Dead Kelly” blends these bells & hi-hats together to tell the story of the titular character. Shaggy 2 Dope getting his own track with the carnivalesque “Here We Go” looking to tear the place down alongside the rest of his hatchet family while the playfully humorous “Cinnamon Pigtails” describes a tale of Violent J meeting a woman on Instagram who turned out to be a catfish.

Devereaux helps ICP dabble with trap metal on “I’m Still Breathin’” talking about their gratitude of being alive despite the chaos in the world while “Pop Out” continues the 2nd half of The Naught with another 2 Dope solo joint that DJ Clay makes more trap oriented than the last one angrily making the speakers jump while the disco rap-inspired “Throw ‘Em Up” after another “Flashback” skit talks about throwing your hatchets up. Violent J descriptively airs out his grievances towards a “Softy Pillow Man” using a prominent tuba within the beat leading into the occult “I’m Fallin’” talking about them thinking no one should try to die.

Expressing some kind of resolution from the conflict inferred from the rest of The Naught, the iconic Toto single “Africa” gets heavily sampled throughout “While It Lasts” ending the 2nd Deck of Joker’s Cards structured similarly to “Low” off Fearless Fred Fury where the Duke’s singing during a good bulk of it & Shaggy drops off a brief rap verse. Wasn’t one of my favorite songs off FFF personally but “While It Lasts” is conceptually stronger than “Low”, basically talking about enjoying the time we all have on this planet.

Common complaints regarding Yum Yum Bedlam from what I’ve heard amongst juggalos is that it felt like a mixtape than a Joker’s Card or the producer tags, neither of which I had any issues with personally because I appreciated it being the first female character in the Dark Carnival mythology & it’s themes of loyalty. The Naught however has to be my 3rd favorite Card of the 2nd Deck, with #2 being Bang! Pow! Boom! & of course The Mighty Death Pop! at #1. The production feels like a throwback to the carnival sound even with Kuma & Mythic Mindz finishing the 71% that Mike E. Clark had yet to complete because of him moving & the clowns themselves answering the question of if one was ever alive at all if there’s no afterlife when we die.

Score: 9/10

JCW’s Deck the Jaws PPV Celebrates 25 Years of Lunacy for Charity

2 days ago was the 25th year anniversary of Psychopathic Records founders the Insane Clown Posse consisting of Violent J & Shaggy 2 Dope forming their independent professional wrestling circuit promotion Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW). Tired of feeling underappreciated for their contributions to wrestling, JCW Commissioner Violent J started a YouTube webseries several months ago called JCW Lunacy that has been proven to be quite successful to the point where their 3rd TrillerTV pay-per-view Deck the Jaws had to celebrate it’s history in juggalo fashion. Former PWG World Tag Team Champion Evil Uno of the All Elite Wrestling (AEW)/Ring of Honor (ROH) faction The Dark Order surprisingly started the event by defeating Facade of the Neon Blondes in the opening contest followed by Mickie Knuckles winning against Rory Shield in a women’s singles match. Former JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champions The Brothers of Funstruction victoriously took on former 2-time JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion Breyer Wellington & Jeremiah Goldmain or Jeeves in a tag match & National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) performer Colby Corino putting over Luigi Primo in singles competition. The inaugural JCW Women’s Champion Dani Mo retained her title in the first of 4 defenses against Rae Larson & later the inaugural JCW American Champion Caleb Konley defending his championship successfully from Tarzan Duran & most importantly Co-Kane a.k.a. Quinn, the KreatchR since people on Twitter have been suggesting him to be a part of the newly launched WWE Independent Development (WWE ID) program from the Endeavor-owned TKO Group Holdings division WWE. Former JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion Matt Cross would defeat former 5-time JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion 2 Tuff Tony & the JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champions The Backseat Boyz now consisting of JP Grayson & Tommy Grayson with Johnny Kashmere as manager were able to defend their title from Hustle & the Muscle consisting of Rohit Raju & Zeeko. Finally in the main event, the 2nd reign of JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion Willie Mack will continue after retaining against former JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion Kongo Kong prior to appearing in last night’s ROH Final Battle pay-per-view at the Hammerstein Ballroom during the ROH World Television Championship match. As their joint pay-per-view with Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) approaches at the Gathering of Legends next summer, I have no doubts that JCW will be bringing it bigger in 2025 than they have on it’s silver jubilee.

Insane Clown Posse Sets JCW’s Deck the Jaws Pay-Per-View for the 25th Anniversary of Promotion’s Formation

Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW) is celebrating the holidays tonight on the exact day that the Insane Clown Posse formed the independent professional wrestling circuit promotion 25 years ago from The Majestic Theatre in Detroit, Michigan with an all-star packed pay-per-view to the likes you’ve never seen before called Deck the Jaws. You can catch all the flavor in person at the Majestic Theatre or live on TrillerTV, but it wouldn’t be a holiday event without also helping those in need at the time of year we all need it the most. That said: JCW & Psychopathic Records are launching a Holiday Toy/Coat/Food Drive, with the only way to gain entry to this spectacular holiday event being by bringing either 1 brand new/unused toy or coat or a total of 10 canned goods to receive a free ticket. Matches on the card include the current JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion in his 2nd reign Willie Mack defending his title against former JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion Kongo Kong, the inaugural JCW Women’s Champion Dani Mo making her 2nd defense, the current JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champions in their 2nd reign The Backseat Boyz making an open challenge for their titles, the inaugural JCW American Champion Caleb Konley putting his belt on the line in a triple threat match against Co-Kane & Tarzan Duran, a singles competition where Luigi Primo faces Colby Corino & more.

Insane Clown Posse’s JCW Devil’s Night PPV Proves to Be a Success

Last night, Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW) Commisioner Violent J of the Insane Clown Posse produced a Devil’s Night pay-per-view on TrillerTV & it was an exciting celebration of the professional wrestling independent circuit promotion’s 25 years of existence. Starting the PPV with 2 singles matches, former 2-time JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion Breyer Wellington started the event by defeating former 5-time JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champion Jake Crist followed by former JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion Kongo Kong defeating Luigi Primo. Co-Kane later won a 6-way match against former JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champion Mosh Pit Mike, Facade, former NXT Tag Team Champion Simon Gotch, Tarzan Duran & The Soultaker in addition to former 5-time JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion 2 Tuff Tony & former JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champion James Storm defeated former JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champions The Southern 6 in a tag match. A battle royale was later held to determine who the inaugural JCW Women’s Champions would be after being said titles for the women’s division were being established, to which Dani Mo was the winner of. Babathunder formerly known as Commander Azeez in WWE defeated Painful Paul in singles competition, but then The Backseat Boyz now consisting of JP Grayson & Tommy Grayson managed by original Backseat Boy Johnny Kashmere defeated Bang & Matthews to take back the JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Championship from them the day after the prior episode of their new YouTube series on Psychopathic Records’ official channel JCW Lunacy was livestreamed. The current reigning TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth formerly known as Dolph Ziggler later defeated former JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champion Kerry Morton in singles action & the inaugural JCW American Champion Caleb Konley retained his title against the current AAA Mundial Crucero Campeonato Matt Riddle with the PPV ending with Willie Mack taking the JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Championship from Matt Cross & Mecha Wolf in a 3-way match. I also couldn’t forget about WWE Hall of Famer, former WWE Champion, WWE Intercontinental Champions, WWE United States Champion & 3-time WWE Tag Team Champion JBL a.k.a. John Bradshaw Layfield making in appearance much like he’s recently been doing in other promotions from TNA to Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide & Game Changer Wrestling (GCW). The latter of which was not only inspired by JCW, but is said to be co-promoting a JCW vs. GCW pay-per-view at next year’s 25th annual Gathering of the Juggals or the Gathering of Legends. The success of JCW Lunacy is said to be continuing after the PPV by livestreaming a full card every week instead of making it a 45 minute show like the first 8 pre-taped episodes were

Insane Clown Posse Continue Celebrating 25 Years of JCW with a Devil’s Night Pay-Per-View

As mentioned last month when the Insane Clown Posse’s ongoing Train of Terror Tour was announced, their independent circuit professional wrestling promotion Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW) started their own wrestling program on the Psychopathic Records official YouTube channel called JCW Lunacy near the end of the summer & has been proven to be successful. Each date of the Train of Terror Tour has included a livestreamed new episode of JCW Lunacy since the first 8 aired on tape delay. The 25 year old promotion will produce a Devil’s Night pay-per-view tonight on TrillerTV, but that’s not all. List of performers on the card include the current JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion Matt Cross, the current TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth formerly known as Dolph Ziggler, the current AAA Mundial Cruceropeso Campeonato Matt Riddle, the previous JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion Willie Mack, the longest reigning 2-time JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champions & JCW founders themselves the Insane Clown Posse, former 3-time GCW World Champion Nick Gage, former JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion Colt Cabana, former 2-time JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion & 3-time JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champion Madman Pondo, former JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champions The Southern 6, the inaugural JCW American Champion Caleb Konley, the newly crowned JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champions Bang & Matthews, former 5-time JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion 2 Tuff Tony, former JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champion Mosh Pit Mike, former TNA World Champion Sami Callihan, former JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champions The Brothers of Funstruction, the previous JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champions The Backseat Boyz, former JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion Kongo Kong, former 2-time JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion Breyer Wellington & more. JCW Lunacy features wrestlers from around the world including talent from the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) with the septuagenarian promotion/governing body being under the ownership of Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan since 2017 already, Major League Wrestling (MLW), the partner promotion of the Endeavor-owned TKO Group Holdings division WWE’s developmental NXT brand Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), the 2nd biggest American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) founded by Jacksonville Jaguars Senior President of Football & Analytics Tony Khan who also bought Ring of Honor Wrestling (ROH) a couple years ago, House of Glory (HoG) Wrestling now owned by Master P & Westside Gunn albeit 3-time TNA X Division Champion Amazing Red founded it, Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), 大日本プロレス (BJW) & the controversial Xtreme Pro Wrestling (XPW). In addition to a JCW Women’s World Juggalo Championship & a JCW Women’s World Juggalo Tag Team Championship currently being established for the near-future, it was even announced a joint PPV between JCW & the best American deathmatch promotion in recent memory Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) will take place at next year’s 25th annual Gathering of the Juggalos billed the Gathering of Legends during the GCW Bad One pay-per-view last month, which is full circle because GCW owner Brett Lauderdale has said in the past that GCW was inspired by Stranglemania & JCW Commissioner Violent J told WrestleZone that he wants to get JCW to GCW’s level. I also agree that ICP deserve more respect in regards what they’ve done in professional wrestling business because it goes beyond Stranglemania or their appearances in ECW, WWE, WCW, ROH & TNA. The late Terry Funk, Sabu, the late Trent Acid & former Juggalo World Order (jWo) member 野沢論外 all held the JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Championship at one point during their careers. WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper & Kamala both had their final matches for the promotion. ザ・グレート・ムタ worked the first annual Bloodymania, which is the company’s marquee pay-per-view event that annually takes place during the Gathering weekend. The current TNA World Tag Team Champions in their 3rd reign The Hardy Boyz consisting of Jeff & Matt Hardy have both worked as singles competitors individually. Or lastly, AEW performer currently on maternal leave Ruby Soho made her in-ring debut in JCW at the Arena Chicks at the Gathering! event.

Celebrate Halloween in Detroit with House of Krazees, Twiztid & Insane Clown Posse

This time of the year is usually a big deal in Detroit, Michigan for underground heads & juggalos altogether. This year’s Fright Fest hosted by Majik Ninja Entertainment will be a 2-night event at the historic St. Andrew’s Hall & it’s basement The Shelter celebrating the House of Krazees’ release of their 4th album 31 tonight with the openers being Long Live Evil founders Alla Xul Elu, Mobstyle Music founder Bukshot, Dark Lord Vader King Gordy from Van Dyke & Harper, Mastamind of Natas, Anybody Killa performing a special Native Funk set, The Michigan Misfits & NBK followed by the demented duo themselves Twiztid consisting of Jamie Madrox & Monoxide headlining their annual Devil’s Night show tomorrow alongside Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Anybody Killa, Boondox, Insane E & The Funeral Portrait opening. The Shelter is notable for being one of the first stages that Eminem ever performed & the main building St. Andrew’s saw him opening for House of Krazees in 1997, which subsequently lead to both the Quincy Jones of hip hop himself Dr. Dre signing Em to Aftermath Entertainment/Interscope Records & Twiztid signing to Psychopathic Records after HoK had initially dissolved following the formation of HaLFBrEED a year later.

The 31st annual Hallowicked will be taking place at the Masonic Temple on Halloween this Thursday with performances from their former mentors & Psychopathic Records founders Insane Clown Posse consisting of the Duke of the Wicked Violent J & the Southwest Strangla Shaggy 2 Dope, who severed ties with MNE at the beginning in 2017 with the CEO of their Chapter 17 Records subsidiary Ouija Macc opening alongside Shaggytheairhead, Wakko the Kidd & Monster Wolf to cap off the Train of Terror Tour & begin Ouija’s upcoming Kicc da Wickit Tour with C17 recording artist Darby O’Trill as a special guest. ICP’s even doing a 80s hair metal set at The Majestic on Devil’s Night shortly after a pay-per-view put together by their Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW) promotion on the independent circuit that same evening, to which Violent J serves as the Commissioner of.

JCW has been seeing quite a bit of deserved success on the 25th anniversary of the ICP-owned independent circuit promotion’s founding with Commissioner Violent J launching their own wrestling show JCW Lunacy on the official Psychopathic Records YouTube channel featuring wrestlers from around the world including talent from the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) such as JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champions The Southern 6 with the septuagenarian promotion/governing body being under the ownership of Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan since 2017 already, Major League Wrestling (MLW), the partner promotion of the Endeavor-owned TKO Group Holdings division WWE’s developmental NXT brand Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), the 2nd biggest American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) most notably former JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion Colt Cabana founded by Jacksonville Jaguars Senior President of Football & Analytics Tony Khan who also bought Ring of Honor Wrestling (ROH) a couple years ago, Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), 大日本プロレス (BJW) & the controversial Xtreme Pro Wrestling (XPW). It was even announced a joint PPV between JCW & the best American deathmatch promotion in recent memory Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) will take place at next year’s 25th annual Gathering of the Juggalos during the GCW Bad One pay-per-view, which is full circle because GCW owner Brett Lauderdale has said in the past that GCW was inspired by Stranglemania & J himself recently told WrestleZone that he wants to get JCW to GCW’s level. It’s further important noting that both Caleb Konley became the inaugural JCW American Champion following the secondary title’s establishment & Matt Cross defeated Willie Mack to become the new JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion at Bloodymania 17, which occurred at this year’s Gathering last month. Openers for the Train of Terror Tour include Wakko the Kidd blazin’ up the stage, Shaggytheairhead droppin’ bangers, Monster Wolf howlin’ out those underground anthems & of course the hatchet’s Chapter 17 Records subsidiary’s own wicked prophet Ouija Macc set to tear the roof off! Immediately afterwards, Ouija will embark on the Kicc da Wiccit Tour with C17 recording artist Darby O’Trill as a special guest.
