”Chlorine” Goes to Show Ouija Macc Will Always Be a Scrub No Matter How Clean He Gets (Album Review)

In front of us is the 7th studio LP from Las Vegas, Nevada emcee Ouija Macc. Breaking out in the fall of 2017 after the Insane Clown Posse signed him to Psychopathic Records shortly after putting out his debut EP Trashfire independently, Ouija has since proven himself as the hatchet’s biggest solo act dropping his last 5 full-lengths, 2 greatest hits compilations, 8 mixtapes & 5 EPs all in the span of nearly 7 years. He even started his own label Chapter 17 Records, with Darby O’Trill is now the only C17 artist other than Ouija & teaming up with each other 13 month ago for the excellent collab effort Anemoia building up for Darcc Planet to become the darccest material of his career. 3 months after Psycho Babbel, we entered the Temple of Ash & are now leaving so he can drop Chlorine on us in the midst of him opening during ICP’s tour set to end this weekend alongside Wakko the Kid following tapings of the hit Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW) webseries JCW Lunacy.

“Creepy Crawler” starts off with a hellish trap intro produced by Devereaux talking about crawling up on ‘em & stacking up his commas whereas “Miyazaki” pulls from the Memphis scene taking it’s name after the revered スタジオジブリ founder 宮崎 駿. “WICC17 SH17” makes a phat homage to the style of music he’s widely known for & putting a modern appeal to it for a newer generation of juggalos while “Lil’ Nitemare” walks down the wrong path deviated by demons.

Meanwhile on “Loonatic”, we have Ouija bringing the presence of a wicked clown right in front of you over a cloudy trap instrumental until the ghostly “Never That” talks about running with the pack to the money & never looking back. “House of 1,000 Doors” gets in his storytelling bag portraying himself as a game show host named after Rob Zombie’s classic directional debut House of 1,000 Corpses until “Mr. Fat Balls” drearily talks about being fed up with the bullshit lies.

“Klepto” breaks down his skitzophrenic tendencies on the verge of stealing shit over some pots, pans & hi-hats while the chilling “Up It Up” entertainingly throws in bar introducing a new nickname for himself blending his moniker with the name of current Monday Night RAW commentator, occasional WWE in-ring performer, ESPN’s College GameDay analyst, host of The Pat McAfee Show on ESPN & former Indianapolis Colts kicker Pat McAfee.

Moving on from there, “Toot Toot” samples “The Loons off ICP’s sophomore effort & the 2nd Joker’s Card Ringmaster going 117mph for the cash since he don’t fuck around when it comes to that while “Mean Muthafucka” shows an angrier side to Ouija warning to get out his face unless you wanna see him crash out. “Databass” vividly portrays himself as a sex offender who preys for his victims on the internet, but then “Death Trap” featuring Apoc Krysis unloads 17 from the clip.

“Unda Unda” pulls inspiration from the Memphis hip hop scene more more blending that with horrorcore & trap talking about coming from the underground since Chapter 17/Psychopathic’s whole sound has appealed to that demographic of hip hop culture birthing it’s own subculture in the process & “Would It Be Alright” finishes Chlorine with a trap metal/emo rap hybrid asking if it’s ok if he dies here tonight.

Ouija’s been calling this the best thing he’s ever made for the past month now & I can’t really argue with it because of the the whole concept revolving around him always being a scrub no matter how clean. Devereaux handles most of the production showing influences of trap, horrorcore, cloud rap, trap metal, emo rap & Memphis hip hop backing the C17 CEO’s call for a juggalo takeover.

”Problem Children 2” Elevates Ouija Macc & Ricky Hil’s Chemistry (Album Review)

This is the 2nd collaborative album between Las Vegas, Nevada emcee Ouija Macc as well as New York recording artist Ricky Hil. The latter of whom came up in 2009 in the cloud/emo rap scenes & the other is the CEO of the Psychopathic Records subsidiary Chapter 17 Records who has been the only other current artist on the label that runs beneath the streets other than the Insane Clown Posse themselves for pretty much the current decade. Ricky recently got a shoutout on the highlight “Olympian” off Playboi Carti’s 3rd album MUSIC last month & is linking up with Ouija again for a sequel to Problem Children.

The title track produced by Devereaux starts with both of them giving middle fingers to everyone & spraying the walls with blood over a guitar-trap instrumental whereas “Upside Down” takes a cloudier route thanks to former Good Charlotte guitarist Billy Martin with Ouija giving props to Psychopathic Don & the wicked clowns’ manager Billy Bill for giving him game. “‘Till I Die” finds the pair talking about staying until the day where they take their last breaths while “Fucc ‘Em Up” fuses hardcore hip hop & trap thanks to 808 Mafia co-founder Lex Luger.

SosMula formerly of the City Morgue joins both of the Problem Children on the “Tavernity Trinity” introducing a new underground supergroup over a trap metal beat leading into “Ginsu” talking about death knocking on their doors & them eventually answering it. “In Vein” brings a trap metal flare back in the fold so they can tackle themes of death just before the internal emo rap-tinged “To Feel” talks about having loneliness to fulfill in their lives.

“Crème Brûlée” boasts that the weed they’re smoking on is significantly sweeter than dessert itself prior to “Nightmare Boyz” talking about people sneak-dissin’ only for the simple reason because of them not being legitimate competition in either of their eyes whatsoever. “Pray 4 Me” finds both of them discussing having 0 sympathy for their enemies due to life itself being an entire tragedy, but then “Buffalo Sauce” showcases a fun back-&-forth chemistry.

As for “Gone in the Wind”, we have Ouija & Ricky talking about death calling ‘em again & it all being lights off in the end while “Low Battery Warning” suggests to enjoy your emptiness since it’ll be as good as it can get. “I’d Probably Rot” shows an emo rap influence again talking about having nothing while “Storm Come Rolling In” admits to pain swallowing them again. “Moon Through the Blinds of the Bando” finishes by stripping the drums with parts of them feeling like they’re in Hell’s Pit.

The eponymous introductory LP was a fun marriage between Ouija Macc’s horrorcore twist on the SoundCloud aesthetics & Ricky’s cloudy emo rap hybrids, returning after 3 years to take it up another level since Ouija has evolved so much artistically since the last time he teamed up with Ricky. Their respective styles all come back & mesh well together once again to take every redeemable quality of its predecessor to newer levels.

Insane Clown Posse Crowns WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Morton as the Inaugural JCW Battle Royale Champion

Coming off the Hella Pain & Diamond Rain this past weekend with performances from JCW Commissioner Violent J of the Insane Clown Posse & the CEO of the Psychopathic Records subsidiary Chapter 17 Records Ouija Macc, the Commissioner established the JCW Battle Royale Championship with the inaugural champion being decided this past Saturday evening. The winner would eventually be former CWA Heavyweight Champion, 3-time CWA Tag Team Champion, 4-time WCW World Tag Team Champion, 2-time WCW World 6-Man Tag Team Champion, NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Champion, 4-time NWA World Tag Team Champion, record 10-time SMW Tag Team Champion & WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Morton. This isn’t the first time that a WWE Hall of Famer has won a title in JCW, since the late Terry Funk was the oldest JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion. It’s also worth noting that Ricky defeated his own son Kerry for the title & Kerry is a former JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champion. Tickets for the Gathering of Legends are now available, which is where the JCW vs. Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) pay-per-view will take place.

Ouija Macc Takes Us Inside the “Temple of Ash” (Album Review)

Las Vegas, Nevada emcee Ouija Macc finishing his 2024 with the 6th studio LP in his discography. He even started his own label Chapter 17 Records & made the big homie HEXXX the first signee to putting out his first 2 classic west coast wicked shit albums Demon Season & Tales of a Cursed G before amicably fulfilling all contractual obligations with the Psychopathic subsidiary last fall. Darby O’Trill is now the only C17 artist other than Ouija, teaming up with each other back in April for the excellent collab effort Anemoia & Darcc Planet became the darccest material of his career. 3 months after Psycho Babbel though, we’re now entering the Temple of Ash.

“Bumpalation” produced by Devereaux is this nocturnal trap intro calling it back to “Murder Go Round” by reminding that y’all can’t fuck with a wicced clown whereas “Dart Pimpson” takes the Memphis route instrumentally to talk about shooting darts in muhfuckas’ necks & not wanting to see scrubs as lit as him. “7 Deadly Symptoms” gives off an eerie trap direction to the beat pleading that his religion puts an end to your condition while the energetic “Spligwitter” talks about splitting wigs by spittin’ the wicced shit.

As for “Lil Jokaro”, we have Ouija over a sample of ICP’s cover of “Assassins” by the Geto Boys off The Amazing Jeckel Brothersreassuring that he ain’t the person to be fucked with at all leading into the funky trap banger “Across da Window Sill” leaving corpses on the grill. “In da Trunk” morbidly talks about dead bodies going in the back of his ride for nearly 3 minutes, but then “Purple Wraith” heads for a hypnotic direction flexing his hatchet came with him when he died.

“Burns on Da Skin” gives off a heavily apocalyptic trap vibe advising to walk with him carrying torches since the temple’s dark as the sun while “Flashbacc” comes clean that he was buggin’ off analepsis stabbing a muhfucca with a stethoscope. “Hatchet Samurai” is a fun joint about not being like any other samurai creeping out the casket with his hatchet by his side prior to “Everything Gone” discussing that everything’s waste & we’re living in the hole.

Beginning the final leg, “Where I Stand” finds Ouija riding with the Psychopathic family since he never had any friends while “Praise 2 da Phonk” experiments with the phonk sound & putting his own wicced spin on it. “Acrylamide” welcomes everyone to the psycho side paying homage to the first ever Dark Lotus track “Echo Side” off The Amazing Jeckel Brothers during the hook & “Sir Leemy of Lone” somberly finishes up by becoming content with the voices in his head.

Capping off what’s been a huge year for the C17 CEO, he takes us through the Temple of Ash with only less than 2 weeks from Christmas & it continues to take Ouija Macc to a whole new level artistically by maintaining the caliber of his last couple LPs. The production is mostly grounded in the occult trap sound that he came up with other than some occasional phonk & Memphis rap detours laying out a well-structured concept.

Celebrate Halloween in Detroit with House of Krazees, Twiztid & Insane Clown Posse

This time of the year is usually a big deal in Detroit, Michigan for underground heads & juggalos altogether. This year’s Fright Fest hosted by Majik Ninja Entertainment will be a 2-night event at the historic St. Andrew’s Hall & it’s basement The Shelter celebrating the House of Krazees’ release of their 4th album 31 tonight with the openers being Long Live Evil founders Alla Xul Elu, Mobstyle Music founder Bukshot, Dark Lord Vader King Gordy from Van Dyke & Harper, Mastamind of Natas, Anybody Killa performing a special Native Funk set, The Michigan Misfits & NBK followed by the demented duo themselves Twiztid consisting of Jamie Madrox & Monoxide headlining their annual Devil’s Night show tomorrow alongside Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Anybody Killa, Boondox, Insane E & The Funeral Portrait opening. The Shelter is notable for being one of the first stages that Eminem ever performed & the main building St. Andrew’s saw him opening for House of Krazees in 1997, which subsequently lead to both the Quincy Jones of hip hop himself Dr. Dre signing Em to Aftermath Entertainment/Interscope Records & Twiztid signing to Psychopathic Records after HoK had initially dissolved following the formation of HaLFBrEED a year later.

The 31st annual Hallowicked will be taking place at the Masonic Temple on Halloween this Thursday with performances from their former mentors & Psychopathic Records founders Insane Clown Posse consisting of the Duke of the Wicked Violent J & the Southwest Strangla Shaggy 2 Dope, who severed ties with MNE at the beginning in 2017 with the CEO of their Chapter 17 Records subsidiary Ouija Macc opening alongside Shaggytheairhead, Wakko the Kidd & Monster Wolf to cap off the Train of Terror Tour & begin Ouija’s upcoming Kicc da Wickit Tour with C17 recording artist Darby O’Trill as a special guest. ICP’s even doing a 80s hair metal set at The Majestic on Devil’s Night shortly after a pay-per-view put together by their Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW) promotion on the independent circuit that same evening, to which Violent J serves as the Commissioner of.

Psychopathic Records Announces Train of Terror Tour w/ JCW Live, Chapter 17 Records To Embark on Kicc da Wiccit Tour Right After

Psychopathic Records is bringin’ the madness with the Train of Terror Tour headlined by the Insane Clown Posse consisting of Violent J & Shaggy 2 Dope hittin’ the tracks from October 23rd to Hallowicked & you know it ain’t just music, it’s a full-blown massacre! Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW) Live will be in the haughhh slammin’ hoes & breakin’ bones with the most ruthless, in-your-face, body-flingin’ wrestling you’ve ever seen! JCW has been seeing quite a bit of deserved success on the 25th anniversary of the ICP-owned independent circuit promotion’s founding with Commissioner Violent J launching their own wrestling show JCW Lunacy on the official Psychopathic Records YouTube channel featuring wrestlers from around the world including talent from the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) such as JCW World Juggalo Tag Team Champions The Southern 6 with the septuagenarian promotion/governing body being under the ownership of Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan since 2017 already, Major League Wrestling (MLW), the partner promotion of the Endeavor-owned TKO Group Holdings division WWE’s developmental NXT brand Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), the 2nd biggest American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) most notably former JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion Colt Cabana founded by Jacksonville Jaguars Senior President of Football & Analytics Tony Khan who also bought Ring of Honor Wrestling (ROH) a couple years ago, Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), 大日本プロレス (BJW) & the controversial Xtreme Pro Wrestling (XPW). It was even announced a joint PPV between JCW & the best American deathmatch promotion in recent memory Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) will take place at next year’s 25th annual Gathering of the Juggalos during the GCW Bad One pay-per-view, which is full circle because GCW owner Brett Lauderdale has said in the past that GCW was inspired by Stranglemania & J himself recently told WrestleZone that he wants to get JCW to GCW’s level. It’s further important noting that both Caleb Konley became the inaugural JCW American Champion following the secondary title’s establishment & Matt Cross defeated Willie Mack to become the new JCW World Juggalo Heavyweight Champion at Bloodymania 17, which occurred at this year’s Gathering last month. Openers for the Train of Terror Tour include Wakko the Kidd blazin’ up the stage, Shaggytheairhead droppin’ bangers, Monster Wolf howlin’ out those underground anthems & of course the hatchet’s Chapter 17 Records subsidiary’s own wicked prophet Ouija Macc set to tear the roof off! Immediately afterwards, Ouija will embark on the Kicc da Wiccit Tour with C17 recording artist Darby O’Trill as a special guest.

Ouija Macc & Darby O’Trill’s Collab Album “Anemoia” Makes the Future, Past & Present Become 1 (Album Review)

This is a brand new collaborative mixtape from Key Largo, Florida emcee & Chapter 17 Records signee Darby O’Trill alongside C17’s founder/CEO & Psychopathic Records recording artist Ouija Macc. Both of whom have already established themselves in the underground, wicked shit scene at this point whether it be Ouija becoming the label that runs beneath the streets’ biggest solo act prior to launching his own subsidiary for Psychopathic or even Darby releasing his Chapter 17 debut Creek to widespread acclaim last summer joining his Lyrikal Snuff Productionz offering Gully celebrating it’s 2-year anniversary at the end of this month as his best full-length. Coronella with Trizz last fall became my favorite collab effort that Ouija has ever done surpassing We Never Forgot with Baby E right when C17 was established, but I had a feeling Anemoia could outdo both of those.

“Kennel Cough” is a dark trap opener calling out all the juffs who be claimin’ they been around when they’ve never seen them around once prior whereas “Wafflehouse Warlock” works in this vocal sample mixed with hi-hats talking about being dead all their lives. “Darkmoon Talisman” brings a morbid trap atmosphere to the table thanks to Devereaux so the demons in their heads can play hockey with their brains just before “Nugget Bowling” shoots for a ghostly approach instrumentally going straight for the dome.

Meanwhile on “Juggalunatic”, we have Ouija & Darby going trap metal to go unhinged leading into “Kidney Stones” talks about being able to promise something that you don’t really want over a bass-heavy trap beat with some bells. The Duke of the Wicked himself Violent J of the Insane Clown Posse appears as Anemoia’s only feature on “The Trees Have Eyes” cautions to stay out the woods over a ghoulish Shaggytheairhead instrumental, but then “Sage Allergy” continues with a fun banger about smokin’ until a motherfucker can’t see.

“Anemoians” makes a turn treading slower & cloudier waters knowing that both of them weren’t alone here while “Need 2 Kill Someone” delves further into the industrial trap sound talking about straight up murder. “Corpse01dotMDL” to me sounds like a bit of a hyphy/trap fusion being about the shit they be yappin’ & having work to do slammin’ a hammer on your skull repeatedly until it breaks while the 2nd single “Graveyard Shift” confesses to diggin’ these graves for days now over a demonic trap beat.

To start the last leg of the album, “Jokaroholio” murkily rubs in your face that the joke’s on you in the end while the lead single “Cobratoxin” is this grisly trap jurnt refusing to trust anyone who isn’t 17in’ in this bitch. “Worry Warts” hops on top of a sample-laced trap instrumental to not worry about the next man while “Death of a Summer” admits to feeling burnt out & hopeless taking the cloudier route once more. “Crossing Over” on the other hand finishes Anemoia with 1 last trap metal cut being unable to go home since they don’t have one.

Coronella only came out 7 months ago being completely unlike any other collab project that Ouija has done & Anemoia here already reached if not surpassed the bar Coronella had set. And when you think about them being the only 2 current artists on C17 as of me writing this, it’s an exemplification of the Psychopathic subsidiary’s strength. The chemistry between the both of them is incredibly natural as they jump over mostly trap-oriented production with additional elements of trap metal & cloud rap thrown in.

Score: 9/10
