N.O.R.E. has become a watch savant, but he will tell you he needed help. Speaking with the Wrist Check podcast, the Drink Champs leader revealed he checks in with JAY-Z before buying a watch.
“I won’t buy a watch unless I speak to certain people,” N.O.R.E. said. “JAY-Z’s top of the list. He does not answer me all the time. But I think that’s respect. I think that if he doesn’t like the watch, he won’t say, ‘N.O.R.E., don’t do that.’
“When I got the Nautilus and when I got the Aquanaut, I sent him both pictures. And his exact words were, ‘Get both them bitches’”
N.O.R.E. isn’t feeling Yung Miami taking home the BET Hip-Hop Award for 2023’s best Hip-Hop Platform. Yung Miami won for her podcast Caresha, Please.

The Lovers & Friends Music Festival in Las Vegas featured headliners like Usher, Chris Brown, Nelly, and Missy Elliot, which was closed out by D’USSÉ Cognac.
Festival performers like T.I., Bow Wow, Bryson Tiller, Ginuwine, N.O.R.E., JoJo, Yung Joc, Dem Franchize Boyz, Lumidee, MCMagic, Lil Rob, Lil Mo, and others sipped on the high-end cognac relaxing before their set and celebrating successful performances shortly after. D’USSÉ hosted a V.I.P. backstage bar in the Artist Village area. To honor the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop this year, artists received bespoke engraved V.S.O.P. bottles and hand-painted vinyl as gifts.
Kanye West has taken his “White Lives Matter” t-shirts to Skid Row. Teaming with controversial figure Ian Connor, Ye had loads of his shirts delivered to homeless people in Skid Row.

Roxie Washington is acting on behalf of the sole beneficiary of Floyd’s estate, her minor child, to sue Ye. Washington is working alongside Witherspoon Law Group and Dixon & Dixon Attorneys at Law in seeking $250 million in damages.
“Kanye’s comments are a repugnant attempt to discount George Floyd’s life and to profit from his inhumane death,” attorney Pat D. Dixon III said.
Also named in the suit are Ye’s “business partners” and “associates.” The suit cites “harassment, misappropriation, defamation, and infliction of emotional distress.”

When he walked in, he told my producer, he said that if he’ll stop filming, he’ll walk out.”
He added, “I apologize to the George Floyd family. I apologize to anybody that was hurt by Kanye West’s comments.
