Actor Michael Rapaport Exposes Shoplifter On Video In NYC Rite Aid

michael rapaport shoplifter

Actor Michael Rapaport posted a video on Twitter Tuesday that allegedly shows a shoplifter walking out of a Manhattan Rite Aid with two bags of stolen items.

Rapaport says he watched him fill two bags with condoms, shampoo, and other items.

The actor can be heard doing play by play of the theft, as the thief walks out of the chain store’s East 80th Street location. The shoplifter walks right by a security guard on his way out the front door.

“I can’t believe I’m seeing this sh*t.” Rappaport says as the shoplifter boldly commits the crime in broad daylight.

“This f*cking guy just filled his two bags up with everything in Rite Aid, right here on 80th [Street] and First Avenue, walking down the street like sh*t is Gucci. I was watching him the whole time.” the True Romance actor revealed.

The NYPD says it did not receive any reports of a shoplifting incident at the drug store.

The New York native and comedian tagged Mayor Eric Adams in his Instagram post, reeling by what he saw.

“Duke just went CHRISTMAS SHOPPING at @riteaid
I’m TRIPPING this happened in broad day like it was nothing.

New @iamrapaport discusses it all.

I was just informed this Rite Aid is closing 2/15 because of this, leaving the workers JOBLESS.

Today In Hip Hop History: John Singleton’s ‘Higher Learning’ Released In Theaters 26 Years Ago

Screen Shot 2021 01 11 at 11.43.15 AM

On this date in 1995, the John Singleton-directed movie Higher Learning debuted in theaters across America courtesy of Sony/Columba Pictures.

Starring Ice Cube, Tyra Banks, Omar Epps and Michael Rapaport, Higher Learning follows three college freshman from totally different backgrounds and show how they co-exist, in peace and in war, on campus. Larry Fishburne, who plays Professor Phipps, serves as a voice a reason to Malik(Omar Epps), who is being bombarded with the common hardships of college life. Fudge, played by Ice Cube, is a pro-Black, super senior who, along with Dreads(Busta Rhymes) “mentors” Malik while he has his back when he’s confronted by neo-Nazi influenced, Iowan roommate Remy(Michael Rapaport). Malik’s girlfriend Deja(Tyra Banks) tries to remind him of his opportunity to “higher learning”, which is only afforded to a few, but is easily caught up in Malik’s indecisions.

Higher Learning addresses the racism, sexism, classism and religious prejudices faced by college students as they prepare to face those challenges in a similar capacity in the real world.

Salute to John Singleton(RIP) for writing, producing and directing this very important piece of Hip Hop history!

Kodak Black Responds to Michael Rapaport: ‘Tell Him Suck a Baby Dick’

Michael Rapaport has a habit of dropping commentary on every single Hip-Hop moment that seems controversial to the culture. Most of the time, his input is unwarranted and dispensable due to his commonly unruly approach even if he has a specimen of a point. The actor has been on a roll recently, especially when it comes to new age rappers, and they always come right back at him with warlike remarks. Last time Rapaport indulged in this act was with Meek Mill, and now he’s been addressed by Kodak Black.

Over the past couple of weeks, the “ZEZE” rapper has been throwing out random outbursts with an offensive effect, starting with the exposure of controversial lyrics towards Young MA, the disrespect of his own rap forefather, Lil’ Wayne, where his wished a grave site upon the Young Money icon, and not to mention, his alleged fist throw at Sticky Fingaz of iconic Hip-Hop group Oynx. Most recently, Black placed himself on the pedestal of Hip-Hop making claims that he is better than Biggie, Tupac, and Nas and ultimately insulted the legacies of the two slain legends stating their deaths are the foundation of their famed impact.

It did not take long for Rapaport to step into the scene and drop his two cents. The 49-year-old actor took to Instagram and blasted the 21-year-old Florida rapper for his comments by dismissing his rap skills and ultimately repelled him as being a top 10 mumble rapper.

“You’re not a dope rapper. You have no skill set. You have no flow. You have no vernacular,” said Rapaport. “Without the face tats, the wild hairdo, and the short stint in prison, you’d be working at UPS…. Comparing yourself to those dudes is a guy playing basketball in his backyard shooting air balls comparing himself to an NBA player. You’re not even a top 10 mumble rapper.”

Well, Kodak did not take the nature of Rapaport’s response lightly. On Saturday night (Mar. 23) during a performance in San Francisco at The Warfield, he decided to respond to the Higher Learner actor.

“I love my crackas, now,” he began. “But y’all tell this dumb ass cracka stop playing with me, man. For real, stay out of Black folk business for one. Then tell him go listen to my album. Then after he go listen to my album tell him suck a baby dick.”

It seems like Black is more upset about the fact that it was Rapaport that dropped his two cents and not an actually Hip-Hop authority. Perhaps, if someone in the likes of Diddy or even a golden era legend like Rakim stepped into the scene to check him accordingly, Kodak may reconsider his initial past remarks. This is without a doubt a perfect opportunity for the real Hip-Hop OGs to step in and correct this modern day error.

Michael Rapaport Advices Jordyn Woods to ‘Bury Them All’

We are currently in week 2 of the Jordyn Woods and Tristan Thompson cheating scandal. While many have criticized Jordyn for “betrayal” as an extended member of the Kardashian family, some have taken her side. One of those people is Michael Rapaport. Rapaport took to social media to give Woods some advice.

“Bring ’em all down with you. Bury ’em all,” he said in his video. “Take ’em all f***in’ down with you because every single one of these people is trying to exploit you. Get your own show, get your own clothing line, start your own make-up line — I don’t know you’re into — f***ing’ toothbrushes, batteries, whatever the f**k you’re into, get it all. Get your own Red Table. Shut all of them of them down.”

“Whatever you did or didn’t do is not worth the kind of ridicule you’re getting so my advice to you is bury each and everyone one of them, one by one.”

Although is not direct to whom Woods should “bury”, it’s obvious that Rapaport is not a fan of the Kardashians.

We have heard everyone’s side of the story except Thompson’s. Woods sat down with Jada Pinkett-Smith on Red Table Talk aired on Friday, in where she confessed to only kissing Thompson. She also states that she had never been there, to begin with, and denies all allegations of sexual encounters with Thompson. Khloe initially called Woods a liar but has now included her baby daddy in the blame game of her family’s breakup.

With an alleged new season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in the works, the Woods and Kardashian scandal will do wonders for ratings of all platforms involved, including Red Table Talk.

Perennial Dweeb Michael Rapaport Apologizes For Calling Meek Mill Trash

PaleyFest 12th Annual Fall Preview - 'Atypical' - Red Carpet

Source: FayesVision/WENN.com / WENN

Michael Rapaport got his Hip-Hop hood pass long ago and we’re not completely questioning his credentials, but seeing as though this is OUR culture, he’s still a guest. The actor and Hip-Hop fan took a shot at Meek Mill by calling him trash but has since walked back his comments as he should.

Last Sunday (Feb. 17), Rapaport took to Twitter and posted the following:

Meek Mill, great story.
Great look.
Trash rapper.
Sorry”

After getting the proper response and slander from the community, our man has finally come back to his senses and realized that he has indeed fallen off his rocker finally. While sitting down with Sway on Tuesday (Feb. 19), Rapaport admitted that calling Meek trash was “stupid” in his words.

You can peep the interview below but first, check out how Meek Mill fired back at Rapaport.

Michael Rapaport Regrets Calling Meek Mill A ‘Trash Rapper’: I Should Not Have Used That Word

After calling Meek Mill a “trash rapper” on Twitter during his 2019 NBA-All Star performance, and getting hurdled with a disgraced response, Michael Rapaport has expressed regret in his commentary.

The actor called into Sway in the Morning on Tuesday to explain his recent rant with Sway and Heather B and took back his use of the word “trash” to describe the talent of Meek Mill and used his trait of bleak hip-hop judgment as an excuse. “I should not have used that word. He’s absolutely not a trash rapper,” said Rapaport. “I shouldn’t use that word. It was wrong and it wasn’t the right word. He’s not a trash rapper. I can’t say it and I wish I could take that word back. I’m harsh with my Hip Hop opinions and it’s the wrong word and it’s just not valid, it’s not true and it’s not reasonable. It was a stupid word to use.”

He continued to explain his reason behind the lengthy rant to whom he placed the blame on hip-hop bloggers and critics. He expressed how he felt as though their voices were technically irrelevant as hip-hop writer and critic is not one of the core elements of hip-hop culture. He ultimately revealed his sense of hurt over the well-documented case of culture vulture identification plagued by hip-hop critics.

“The thing that led me to carry on is these so-called Hip Hop bloggers, these culture critics, what are the four elements of Hip Hop? Nowhere in the elements of Hip Hop is there anything about a blogger or a fucking culture critics … listen, these mother fuckers … and all this culture vulture shit. I’ll quote the great Mantronix, ‘It’s for black, Puerto Ricans and the white people, too.’ This is an inclusive music.”

Rapaport went on to single out “fair-weather Meek Mill fans” who he says did not support the Philly rap star during his 2015 feud with Drake. When asked by Sway why he was focused on the now squashed feud- since the two have even gone on to do a collab, he claimed he was on Meek Mill’s side during the battle and went back to questioning the loyalty of the “Going Bad” rapper’s fan base. “I was rooting for Meek Mill to bury him in a battle form.” He continued, “These fans, where were you when they were dissing this guy calling him Mr. Minaj…”

In the light of Meek Mill and Michael Rapaport’s Twitter scuffle, Mill’s fan base was transparent on social media defending the transparency of his talent as a rapper. It is likely Meek’s fan base showing out has influenced Rapaport’s apology, but the Higher Learner actor seems to have concurrent beef with his critique being critiqued.

Watch Michael Rapaport’s call into Sway in the Morning, below.
