Twitter has been thrown into a tizzy after “Xplosive” (see what we did there?) photos of a masked Dr. Dre and a “mystery woman” leaving BOA Steakhouse in Los Angeles Wednesday (Feb.10) hit the web. It didn’t take long for Twitter detectives to decipher who the mystery woman was, and it’s none other than Omarion’s baby mama and his dirty macking B2K brother Lil Fizz’s ex Apryl Jones.
The Shaderoom is confirming that it is indeed Jones seen with Dre. Now, the two don’t necessarily have to be on a date and could have just been discussing music, but that is highly unlikely. Speaking exclusively with Madame Noire, Jones revealed that she is single and dating but did not disclose exactly who.
Per Madame Noire:
“I am dating. And…I’m not looking for anything,” she says. “I’m a say I’m not looking. I just feel like…I am dating, and I’m open, and I feel like what I am hoping to experience is just a great exchange of energy with somebody that feels different, and I’ll know it when I feel it. But that’s just where I’m at with it. I’m not looking for anything. I don’t have a particular type. I’m just enjoying life and exchanging energy, and enjoying company. And that’s it. And when I need what I need when I need it, I get what I need when I need it! Keep it pushin’ [laughs]. That’s where I’m at.”
Riiiggghhht.
Twitter has been giving Jones her props for scooping the 55-year-old near billionaire, putting her in elite company with Lori Harvey.
Apryl Jones spoke candidly about rebuilding herself as a businesswoman amid her “terrible break-up” with Omarion.
The reality star and Fizz have allegedly split, but there are rumors that they’re faking a break up to help with legal issues. But according to a recent interview with Voyage LA, she’s minding the business that pays her and raising her two children.
“I was in a really terrible space 2016, where I had just had my second child, and my son was only one at the time, and I was going through a terrible breakup with their father. He decided to leave without explanation and I was forced to have to pick up the pieces of my life. I went back to work doing what I graduated school with which was radiation science…I was presented with a great opportunity to start my own wine by branding with a winery in Temecula, CA.”
She continued, “It def hasn’t been a smooth road. There have been many challenges as I stated before that I feel could have set me back but it pushed me to wanna be better for me and my kids. I had numerous amounts of days where I wanted to give up going through court stuff, dealing with being the only one here in Los Angeles with no family or support, being forced to have to move into a space with two little kids with no explanation because my partner decided he didn’t want his family anymore. Having to do all these things that created anxiety, fear, etc. But again I pushed through I didn’t play victim. I didn’t make excuses. I put my wit into creating and motivating myself.”
Omarion is reportedly set to break his silence on the whole situation in a Zeus special titled The Connection. There’s no tentative release date but Apryl Jones got a head start reiterating her side of the story. What are your thoughts?
Omarion may be the king of being unbothered, but after the mother of his children and former band mate called it quits—he’s ready to reveal just why he refused to respond to the news.
During an interview with Claudia Jordan for Out Loud, Apryl Jones confirmed that she and Lil’ Fizz have officially broken up, citing that focusing on the kids is their priority as the reasoning.
”Drew is a great man. His focus is on Kam, my focus is on my kids. And we are where we are. And I kinda want to leave it there…”
Although she was tight lipped about the reason behind the split from Fizz, Apryl did offer the reason why she and Fizz became an item in the first place—he was there for her.
”I don’t live my life for people, so I don’t care what people have to say,” Apryl said. “But I do have to say that there is a lot of information that people don’t know. There was a lot left off of Love & Hip-Hop, even more so now because I haven’t been on but that’s 15 years right there. I have known Drew for so long and I have to say that if it wasn’t for him being there for me when I was going through difficult things like being a mother and life, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
Despite being single, one thing that Apryl is finally able to receive is closure in her relationship with Omarion. During an interview with Madame Noire, Omarion finally reveals what caused him and Apryl to go their separate ways after she gave birth to his daughter—an answer Apryl stated was much needed for her to finally move on.
During the interview, Omarion states that it was a shift in energy and growth that drove his decision to end his longterm relationship with Apryl.
“[When Apryl and I broke up], I was asking myself a lot of questions,”Omarion revealed. “I just had kids. I was like, why am I doing this? I needed a moment to be able to just recalibrate and refocus and really think about what I wanted to do. I would really attribute her not understanding to lack of communication and upbringing. I was raised a little bit different than she was raised and I think that is really, at the end of the day, always a thing in relationships. It’s just miscommunication and different love languages. So that’s what I would really attribute it to. People grow and some people grow out of each other. I would say that is, from my perspective, truly is what happened.”
In regards to how he remain unfazed by the union of Apryl and Fizz, Omarion states that his positive outlook on the situation was fueled by his love for their kids.
”The most important thing about understanding where I’m at is, I did a lot of self-reflecting. You have to know yourself well enough to know how far you would go. In my self-reflecting I realized that maybe I would take it too far,” Omarion continued. “Maybe I would go further and there would be certain consequences that wouldn’t just affect me, but it would affect my kids. Really, when you take a step back and you really know yourself, you’re able to make better decisions. So to be honest with you, I just did a lot of self-reflecting and I realized, a lot of situations and circumstances are really out of your control. The only power you have is the way that you react. In order to really get a grip on that, you almost have to go through all of the emotions. You have to go through the ups and downs to really be able to root yourself and focus on what’s important. So I just made the decision to be respectful to my kids and to be respectful to myself because it’s like, everybody is like, ‘I would respond like this,’ or I would respond like that, but what happens after that? And then also, it’s like, what am I here for? Am I here for that? No. I’m here for my kids. Truly.”

Omarion has been praised for the way he handled the messy situation with his baby’s mother, Apryl Jones, and his former band mate, Lil Fizz. The singer has been dubbed the official “unbothered” or should we say “o-bothered” mood for 2020.
O did an interview with Madame Noire and of course they asked about the upcoming Millennium Tour, but they couldn’t let him leave without asking about his personal life.
He explained that his children was the motivation behind his care-free attitude in regards to their new extended family. “In my self-reflecting, I realized that maybe I would take it too far. Maybe I would go further and there would be certain consequences that wouldn’t just affect me, but it would affect my kids,” he said. “Really, when you take a step back and you really know yourself, you’re able to make better decisions. So to be honest with you, I just did a lot of self-reflecting and I realized, a lot of situations and circumstances are really out of your control. The only power you have is the way that you react. In order to really get a grip on that, you almost have to go through all of the emotions. You have to go through the ups and downs to really be able to root yourself and focus on what’s important.”
He added, “I just made the decision to be respectful to my kids and to be respectful to myself because it’s like, everybody is like, ‘I would respond like this,’ or ‘I would respond like that,’ but what happens after that? And then also, it’s like, what am I here for? Am I here for that? No. I’m here for my kids. Truly.”
Omarion also talked about approaching his 20th year in the game and the reason him and Apryl fell out in the first place. “Everyone is not in the industry or doing something long enough to where they ask themselves, ‘Why am I doing this?’” he said. “This will be my 20th year in the music industry. So at that time, I was asking myself a lot of questions. I just had kids. I was like, why am I doing this?… I would really attribute [Apryl] not understanding to lack of communication and upbringing. I was raised a little bit different than she was raised and I think that is really, at the end of the day, always a thing in relationships. It’s just miscommunication and different love languages. So that’s what I would really attribute it to. People grow and some people grow out of each other. I would say that is, from my perspective, truly is what happened.”

The relationship that NOBODY was here for looks to have to come to an end based on the fact that two Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood cast members have unfollowed and blocked one another on Instagram. A quick scan of Jones IG timeline and it’s wholly liberated of any evidence of a relationship between her and Fizz existed. On his page, though there are still photos of them together during happier times, it could be just him being too lazy to take them, or he is holding onto hope. (HHW)

The relationship that NOBODY was here for looks to have to come to an end based on the fact that two Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood cast members have unfollowed and blocked one another on Instagram. Based on today’s relationship standards, that pretty much means they are not rocking with each other anymore. Right?

Welp, Twitter is wasting no time clowning both of them, especially Fizz reminding him that he fumbled the bag for nothing and that Omarion still is very much unbothered. Fizz and the remaining B2K members will not be joining the “Ice Box” singer when the Millenium Tour returns this year. Instead, fans can look forward to seeing Bow Wow, Yin Yang Twins, Lloyd, Sammie, Pretty Ricky, Soulja Boy, and Ashanti.
Can’t say folks didn’t try to warn you Fizz, you peep all of the reactions to the alleged breakup in the gallery below.
It’s obvious, NOBODY, and we mean NOBODY is here for dirty mack supreme Lil Fizz and Omarion’s baby mama, Apryl Jones relationship. It was quite evident during the first part of the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood reunion.
All season long viewers and cast members (especially Moniece) have been subjected to Fizz and Apryl lying about their relationship till they finally decided to force it on us. Once they confirmed reality tv’s “worst-kept secret,” they have been the subject of many draggings on social media.
During part one of #LHHH’s reunion cast members Paris Phillips, Zell Swag, and Fizz’s B2K brother, J-Boog didn’t shy away from letting the couple know how they really felt about their foul union. Of course, the internet as well had to join in on the fun, and they were just as vicious in dragging Fizz and Apryl. It’s honestly becoming one of Twitter’s favorite activities to do on Monday nights.
With this much support, no wonder Omarion hasn’t really said anything on the matter besides his VLAD TV interview and chess, not checkers move of excluding the rest of B2K from the Millenium Tour 2020. Now keep in mind this was only part one, there still is part two coming up next week. You can check out the well-deserved negative comments directed towards Fizz and Apryl in the gallery below.
Just as quick as Lil Fizz seemed to find love with the mother of Omarion’s child, Apryl Jones, it seems to be falling apart. The duo has been defiant to those who have questioned if their relationship is appropriate but it looks like Jones has a side to Fizzo.
Video has made its way around social media showing Jones pretty close to FGB BabyGoat, who took the time to address the image on Instagram.
The rap news cycle never slows down. Today, online personality Jonny Fastlane focuses on Omarion trolling Lil Fizz, Trippie Redd‘s feud with Lil Gotit, Meek Mill putting out fire merchandise and more. Let’s talk hip-hop!
