Kamala Harris Calls For Impeachment Of Brett Kavanaugh After Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Presidential candidate and current California Senator Kamala Harris is calling for the impeachment of newly Trump-appointed Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh after the latest allegations of sexual misconduct against him.

Sen. Kamala Harris took to Twitter to voice her concern about Kavanaugh’s appointment to the high courts, blasting his confirmation process as a “sham” after new allegations have surfaced accusing the justice of more sexual misconduct against a former classmate.

“I sat through those hearings,” she tweeted, referring to the Senate hearings after multiple women accused him of sexual misconduct.

“Brett Kavanaugh lied to the U.S. Senate and most importantly to the American people,” she added. “He was put on the Court through a sham process and his place on the Court is an insult to the pursuit of truth and justice. He must be impeached.”

Sen. Kamala Harris is the second Democratic representative and Presidential candidate to call for Justice Kavanaugh’s impeachment after he was hit with another accusation of unwanted sexual contact by a male classmate who said he witnessed Kavanaugh expose himself and press his genitals against a woman without her consent. In an explosive article published by The New York Times on Saturday (Sept. 14), the allegation was reported over a year ago but was not made available to the public until now. The article also reveals that the claim was reported to the FBI, but was not investigated.

Democratic presidential candidate Julián Castro is also for the justice’s impeachment hours after the report was published.

“It’s more clear than ever that Brett Kavanaugh lied under oath. He should be impeached,” he tweeted on Saturday night. “And Congress should review the failure of the Department of Justice to properly investigate the matter.”

Kavanaugh has denied all of the allegations he has faced, calling them politically motivated, but critics are pointing out that during his nomination process he faced similar accusations including the accusations of attempted rape by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.

As of press time, Supreme Justice Kavanaugh has yet to comment on the new allegations.

The GOP got a short-term W, but the repercussions will reverberate for years. Yesterday (Oct. 6), Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court, and he has already been sworn in. 

Reports USA Today:

Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in as the 114th Supreme Court justice in a private ceremony Saturday just hours after the Senate voted to confirm him, solidifying conservative control of the highest court in the land for years to come and ending a bitter battle over his nomination.

The confirmation delivered a major win to President Donald Trump, who defended his embattled nominee when sexual assault accusations were leveled against him. Kavanaugh has denied the accusations.

Trump, speaking at a rally in Topeka, Kansas, called it a “truly historic night” and a “tremendous victory.” He added: “What he and his wonderful family endured at the hands of Democrats is unthinkable.”

Kavanaugh was confirmed despite bitter protests, a suspect FBI investigation and repeatedly fibbing under oath and revealing a temperament not befitting of a judge.

Nevertheless, the Senate, with an extra sarcastic thanks to Susan Collins and her sell-out vote, confirmed the beer-loving judge to the lifetime gig.

Vote in November.

Amy Schumer Gets Detained While Protesting Against Brett Kavanaugh

Amy Schumer was detained on Thursday while protesting against Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court, reports said.

The Trainwreck actress joined demonstrators at the #CancelKavanagh event at Capitol Hill, which occurred a day before the Senate will begin voting on Republican President Donald Trump’s pick. The protest comes hours after the FBI sent the Senate Judiciary Committee a report following its week-long investigation concerning allegations of sexual assault against the judge, which he has denied.

A recording of Thursday’s protest shows Schumer and a few other ladies, including fellow star Emily Ratajkowski, were standing outside against a wall while police surrounded them. CNN reports that Schumer was seen “being arrested.” MSNBC also aired similar footage, saying in a tweet that Schumer “was detained with other anti-Kavanaugh protesters at the Hart Senate Office Bldg. atrium on Capitol Hill.”

Ratajkowski wrote on Instagram that she herself was “arrested protesting the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, a man who has been accused by multiple women of sexual assault,” adding “Men who hurt women can no longer be placed in positions of power. Kavanaugh’s confirmation as a Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States is a message to women in this country that they do not matter. I demand a government that acknowledges, respects and supports women as much as it does men.”

Capitol Police did not comment and there is no record of Amy Schumer’s arrest.

Last weeks Senate Judicial hearing where embattled Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh angrily defended himself produced many hilarious memes. It’s one video-in particular where a certain character from the film Pulp Fiction that has instantly become a hit. 

During the eye-opening hearing, Senate Republicans hired a sex crimes lawyer Rachel Mitchell to-ask both accuser Christine Blasey Ford and Brett Kavanaugh questions about her allegations against him. Republicans hid behind Mitchell opting to let the lawyer ask Ford questions they prepared before subsequently returning to the norm and taking the lead when it came to praising the “choir boy.”

Not many were pleased watching Republicans pretty much pitch Kavanaugh softballs. They didn’t ask any hard-hitting questions after Kavanaugh’s emphatic reading of his prepared statement where he hilariously professed his love for beer. He also showed he doesn’t have the temperament to hold a seat on the highest court on the land by expressing partisan views calling Senate Democrats actions “revenge for the Clintons.”

Well, a filmmaker who goes by the Twitter handle @ohboyson found someone who could have done the cross-examination of Kavanaugh a hell of a lot better than anyone on the Senate Judiciary Committee. That person was none other than the bible quote using hitman Jules Winnfield played by Samuel L. Jackson from Tarantino classic film Pulp Fiction. The brilliant blend of the movie and certain parts of the Kavanaugh’s hearing work flawlessly together.

The blend was so good that Jackson shared the video saying it was “funny as hell” and still managed throw a shot at the Supreme Court nominee adding “there’s nothing funny about his lying fratboy ass!!!”

Mr. Jackson said no lies in his tweet. We can always count on him to keep all the way real on issues that matter. Samuel Jackson must be protected at all costs.

New York rapper 50 Cent is keeping his eyes on the news cycle. The hip-hop veteran has savagely trolled Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in light of his publicized sexual assault nightmare.

Fif went to Instagram Friday (September 28) with a clip trolling Kavanaugh from his Thursday testimony addressing sexual assault allegations.

Yesterday, Kavanaugh and his alleged victim made national headlines with non-stop coverage from the televised testimony.

On Thursday, after Kavanaugh and his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, offered their emotional, riveting testimony on Capitol Hill Thursday, Kavanaugh’s confirmation seemed more likely than not. Ford insisted she was “100 percent” sure Kavanaugh assaulted her when they were both in high school, and Kavanaugh insisted he was completely innocent. Republicans voiced their support, and Democrats opposed the nominee. (CBS News)

Despite strong opposition from Republicans, an approved FBI probe into the allegations now force a week delay in determining Brett’s fate as a Supreme Court justice.

A re-opened FBI probe into Brett Kavanaugh’s background and whether he engaged in sexual misconduct is a longshot to turn up definitive proof, but could still unearth damaging information about the embattled Supreme Court nominee or his accusers. That’s because key witnesses such as Mark Judge, Kavanaugh’s high school friend who reportedly was present for an alleged sexual assault against Christine Blasey Ford, appear to have agreed to cooperate with the FBI after earlier providing more limited statements to the Senate Judiciary Committee denying Ford’s claims or saying they couldn’t recall events she described. Dr. Ford Says — 100% It Was Brett Kavanaugh Who Tried To Rape Her

In an emotional display, the Brett Kavanaugh Senate Confirmation Hearing is not going too well for the Republicans. So far, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford has come forward in a very credible way to tell her story concerning her alleged sexual assault by Kavanaugh, the Trump-nominated and Republican-supported Supreme Court nominee. The Senate Republicans hired an Arizona-based prosecutor to ask their questions, while each of the Democratic Senators asked their own questions and commended Dr. Ford for her inspirational courage.

Dr. Ford, whose manner appears intelligent and credible (much like Anita Hill in 1991), told the U.S. Senators that she is 100% certain that it was Kavanaugh who sexually assaulted her.  In what she called her “civic duty,” she said she initially tried to remain anonymous but felt obligated to come forward.  She also requested an investigation by the FBI, but Senate Republicans ignored that request.

In a non-partisan manner, Dr. Ford testified that she attempted to notify persons (by calling a tip line and contacting her Congresswoman) after Kavanaugh was named on the short list of President Trump’s picks in order to make sure Kavanaugh would not continue to be considered.

Dr. Ford provided a report of her polygraph results and requested the report be placed in the record.  The polygraph test was administered in August and was provided to the Senate Committee in September.  The Republicans refused to allow the polygraph examiner to testify about the results.  Since the Democrats submitted the report, it is a safe assumption that the polygraph results confirm Dr. Ford was truthful in her allegations against Judge Kavanaugh.

Question: Did Trump and the Republicans’ stubborn and aggressive plan backfire?  Time will tell.
