Nipsey Hussle’s Baby Mama Reportedly Wants to Manage His Estate

Nipsey Hussle’s family is preparing for a showdown over his estate.

Tanisha Foster, the mother of Nipsey’s daughter Emani, will object to the appointment of the rapper’s brother, Sam Asghedom, as administrator of his estate, sources tell TMZ. Foster will reportedly not accept Sam as the manager of Nipsey’s fortune and may even request to be appointed administrator herself.

Since Nipsey died without a will, Sam has filed legal documents to be appointed the administrator of his brother’s estate, which is estimated at $2 million. A judge is set to rule on Sam’s request June 10.

Under California law, Nipsey’s two children, including 10-year-old Emani, and 2-year-old Kross (Nipsey’s son with Lauren London), would split the estate and each get around $1 million.

Meanwhile, Foster continues to fight for custody of Emani. If she’s successful, she would have control over the finances and would likely be entitled to use some of it to provide for her daughter. On Tuesday (May 21), a judge temporarily blocked Foster from having physical custody of Emani, who is living with Nipsey’s sister, Samantha Smith.

Foster has asked the probate judge to continue the custody hearing. According to TMZ, she and Nipsey’s family are not on good terms, and Foster will most likely object to Sam becoming the administrator.
