One of the most audacious lyricists in the rap game currently is Millyz, alongside him is a Pittsburgh-born rapper named ZIO. Pronounced ZEE-YO, these two powerhouse performers met in NYC to film “Up All Night”. The music video will be available on YouTube 1/11/24 for its debut to the world. This will be a lead off track for BIZZY 3, which releases 2/22/24.
Millyz grew up from Boston, MA and has earned plenty of credibility through his marksmanship with his verses. Millyz album “Holy Water” has recently gone number one on its debut day on The Billboard charts. Millyz also recently called out MGK on TMZ for being “weird & fake” challenging him, stating he will poke holes in MGKs background. Millyz has the been on a roll with features from some of Hip Hop Heavyweights like Jadakiss, Meek Mill, Fivio Foreign, and Dave East,
The 50th anniversary of hip hop was this past August and to pay homage both artists decided to link together and shoot their music video in Brooklyn NYC. The backdrop was the Brooklyn Bridge in a swanky upscale apartment. As the video began its filming our staff writer says there were multiple bottles of Ace of Spades on ice, ½ dozen premium video vixens, and both music artists having a combined $500,000+ of jewelry on. Millyz rocking an iced out blingy AP, and ZIO rocking a solid gold Cartier Santos Skeleton.
The cameraman Dom Bruno directed the whole atmosphere, and chopped up the footage for a bidgeworthy music video. In addition to the music video, Millyz gave ZIO a special gift directly from Mark Walhberg, a signed bottle of Flecha Azul.
The odd thing about this whole collaboration is that it seems it was a 30% split amongst our team here at The Source, 30% knew of ZIO already and 70% have never heard of ZIO. That makes sense since most of ZIOs career was underground and recently became an indie artist signing himself to his own label for $250,000.
So who is he? ZIO has been involved in the Pittsburgh hip hop scene mainly being an underground act and after doing some digging and background checks in the industry we now know he has released tracks dating back to as far as 2007 with Johnny Juliano. On record and online we can only find items from his catalog that start in November 2018. We do know from our research Wiz Khalifa was at one point in time a rival and also an artist ZIO considered to have “Mortal Beef” with. Which is now for both artist’s this is considered water under the bridge, no pun since both music artists are from Pittsburgh, “The City Of Bridges”.
ZIO is a Latino-Italian, he is Puerto Rican, Mexican and Italian to be specific. His word play, punchlines, cadence and presence has propelled him into the BIG leagues. His mixtape BIZZY 2 has close to 500,000 streams since April 2023. This new follow up album titled BIZZY 3, is the last of the trilogy of albums. BIZZY 3 promises to double or triple BIZZY 2 and its popularity.
A line in the Millyz featured song from ZIO says “How can I feel safe? TRUMP got Ricoed!”. Attention grabbing lyrics and bold delivery is catching on with fans and other music artists, so much so that Dave East is rumored to be working on a follow up collaboration with ZIO. This is a huge boost for the Pittsburgh rapper, essentially ZIO has unexpectedly dropped a classic trifecta mix of songs which are lyrical and thought provoking. It’s caused many online magazines to take heave, and it’s only a matter of time before he goes national.

When we asked why he chose that instagram handle for his page he replied, “Because I don’t trust a motherf%ckin’ soul.” The DTA stands for “Don’t Trust Anyone” and the Lone Wolf is because he knows he doesn’t need anyone except belief in himself and God.
