Manhattan DA Files Document to Place 6ix9ine Behind Bars

The Manhattan District Attorney believes that Tekashi 6ix9ine belongs behind bars. The Blast reports Sara Weiss, the Assistant DA for New York County District Attorney’s Office, has filed a document that would place the “FEFE” rapper in prison for one to three years.

The new document is attached to the case where 6ix9ine pled guilty to one count of using a child in a sexual performance. Weiss cited that the plea deal that 6ix9ine reach has been violated twice, this past May in New York and July in Texas.

“Defendant’s acknowledged membership in a violent Bloods set known as 9 Trey Bloods, along with an incident of gun violence perpetrated by this defendant’s entourage, make him an inappropriate candidate for adjudication as a Youthful Offender,” Weiss wrote in the letter.

Weiss noted that 6ix9ine was not to be associated with new crimes, but also his “own failure to obtained a GED, and his numerous requests for additional time to do so, that resulted in multiple adjournments and caused a lengthy delay in the sentencing date.”

6ix9ine was due in court today (Oct. 3) but will be set for a different date.
