Few people have inspired my life more than Dr. King. When I was a student leader at Morehouse, his presence and legacy looked larger than life, but he was just a man. I once wrote an op-ed for our school paper, saying how I wish we had a life-size statue of him on campus, in addition to the enormous one in front of our chapel, just to remind us that he was actually human and not a god – that we can actually follow in his footsteps. He was short, only about 5,7” by the way. That’s why I collect and share these full color images of him – to help better convey his humanity. Hope you enjoy them.
