60 million in one day. That’s how many streams Kanye West’s DONDA did on Apple Music, making it the most-streamed release on the service in 2021.

The total is also the third-highest ever to hit Apple Music. The album was on top of the charts in 152 countries on Apple Music’s album charts, Complex reports, and took over 19 of the Top 20 spots on the Top 100 Global Songs chart.

Apple Music wasn’t the only place that DONDA streams went crazy. Kanye earned over 94 million streams on Spotify, the second-most all-time.

The album is projected to move over 300,000 first-week units. According to HITS Daily Double, those numbers will assist in a number one debut for Kanye’s DONDA album. The album would be his best performing release since Yeezus in 2013.

HITS details DONDA is chasing J. Cole’s The Off-Season, which did 308 million first-week audio streams, becoming the biggest total of 2021 so far.

DONDA lapped the other new releases of the week, including Halsey’s If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, which is projected at 115,000 on the high end.

Do you think his numbers will remain on top when Kanye’s favorite foe drops?
