Late Chicago rapper Juice WRLD‘s family is speaking out. The recently deceased hip-hop entertainer’s mom has come forward to address his shocking death.

This week, Juice’s day one issued a statement acknowledging his addiction to prescription drugs.

This week, rap artists G Herbo and Joyner Lucas clashed on WRLD’s death and the problem with musicians taking drugs.

On Monday, Joyner explained his frustrations with the current culture of drug rap and called out entertainers encouraging that lifestyle.

On Sunday, police reportedly discovered 70 pounds of cannabis from Juice’s private jet.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the FBI confiscated the huge stash of weed from several suitcases that were on board the flight. We obtained this photo of the marijuana and luggage in the private jet terminal at Midway. According to law enforcement, several members of Juice’s team aboard the flight — which landed around 1 AM Sunday — told them Juice had taken “several unknown pills” prior to the seizures which led to him getting rushed to a hospital.
