Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs is still hurting over the death of Mac Miller. The hip-hop veteran has remembered the late hip-hop artist with a vintage throwback pic.

FG went to Instagram this past weekend with a pic of himself, Mac and Top Dawg Entertainment’s ScHoolboy Q.

Coincidentally, ScHoolboy Q recently admitted he would delay his new album as a result of Miller’s death.

“You know I drop albums every two years, right? But listen, with my n*gga gone right now, I just don’t feel right putting out an album. As y’all can tell, I’m not my real self right now. I shouldn’t even be here right now. But like I said, my n*gga Mac would not want me to be in the house sad. He would clown me for some weird sh*t. I’m here today because it’s no way he would allow me to sit in the house and be a little b*tch. I’m not gonna be a little b*tch. I’ma go back, and I’ma figure out when I’ma put this f*cking album out, because y’all are going to get this album. I promise that. I’m just not ready to walk into the radio station and the first thing they ask me is, ‘So Mac Miller.’ I’m not ready to deal with those questions. So, right now, I’m not ready to put nothing.”

Last week, reports claimed Mac’s music streams exploded following his shocking death.

Following the death of Mac Miller on Friday, on-demand streams of his music in the U.S. climbed by 970 percent, according to Nielsen Music. On Sept. 7, the hip-hop star’s catalog of songs earned 32.5 million streams (audio and video combined), up from 3.04 million on Sept. 6. Following nearly a full tracking week after his death, it’s expected that Miller’s catalog of songs and albums could impact Billboard’s charts next week (dated Sept. 22, reflecting the sales and streaming tracking week of Sept. 7-13). Earlier this month, West Coast rapper Game admitted he needed a day to compose his thoughts after Miller’s death.
