FINALLY. Donald Trump Has Been Tested for COVID-19

The president has finally been tested for the coronavirus. After being exposed to COVID-19 at least four to five different times, Donald Trump has taken the first steps to see if he has been exposed and infected with this monstrous disease that is ravishing the world.

Many believe that he should self-quarantine.

A self-quarantine, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is “The separation of a person or group of people reasonably believed to have been exposed to a communicable disease but not yet symptomatic, from others who have not been so exposed, to prevent the possible spread of the communicable disease.”

Who has he been exposed to that may have infected him:

He hung out with Fabio Wajngarten, a top official in Brazil who has tested positive for the coronavirus, at his Mara-lago home.

Over the last week, Trump has had direct contact with two Republican Congressmen, Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA) and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), days before they were self-quarantined because they were also exposed to the virus while they were at the 2020 Conservative Political Action Conference.

According to NBC News, he took the test on Friday, March 13th and anticipates the results in the next few days.

“I also took the test last night, and I decided I should based on the press conference yesterday. People were asking,” Trump said during a press conference at the White House Saturday.

“They sent it to a lab,” he added, saying results should take a “day or two” to return.

Even though he may have been exposed to the virus, he continued to shake hands with other team members, politicians, and reporters.

We wish him well and good health.
