Drake Sues Woman Who Allegedly Falsely Claimed She Was Raped, Got Pregnant

Drake filed a lawsuit against a woman who claimed that the rapper got her pregnant. He insists that she’s trying to extort him and also made false rape allegations against him.

In the documents obtained by TMZ, Drizzy met Layla Lace last year during his Boy Meets World Tour in Manchester, England. He says they hooked up once after one of his shows in February 2017 and had consensual sex and “Layla also voluntarily and seemingly happily performed oral sex.”

In the claim, recorded by celeb legal counselor Larry Stein, Drake says Layla went ballistic when he sent her home as opposed to taking her on tour with him.

The claim contains various instant messages Layla sent Drake in the next weeks, saying how much she missed him amongst other things. Drake says she made a “fantasy relationship” with him and at a point, didn’t have the “time or energy to react” and he says that set her off.

In April 2017, she posted on Instagram and out of the blue asserted she was pregnant, saying, “So I guess still in this era this is the new thing that after you tell a dude you pregnant they stop answering they phone!!!” According to the claim, she threatened to go public with her messages to Drake. As promised, she went on Sirius XM and claimed the Canadian rapper got her pregnant

The suit proceeds to affirm in May 2017, Layla contracted a legal advisor and requested cash for her baby and threatened him with defamation because TMZ published a story saying they never met.

The suit claims Layla declined to take a paternity test and Layla and her attorney went radio quiet. Drake says the entire thing was a trick. “There is no credible evidence of pregnancy, nor any baby, which would have been born last Fall.”

As indicated by the claim, Layla tried to switch up the story and alleged that the Scorpion rapper raped her during their one night stand. Drake says by then Layla enlisted another attorney who requested cash or else they would make a public rape complaint.

As indicated by the suit, the case was alluded to Manchester police, who talked with him and at last cleared him.

Drake is suing her for civil extortion, emotional distress, fraud, defamation, and abuse of process.

He’s requesting unspecified damages.
