Rap pioneer DJ Premir has done the unthinkable. The hip-hop veteran has come through on his promise to release a new Gang Starr banger.

Heading into the weekend, Premo hit the go button on his Guru and J. Cole-featured “Family & Loyalty” single premiere.

On Thursday, Premo went to Twitter to reveal the new single would premiere at midnight.

This week, rap veterans Nas and Rocye Da 5’9 shared their need for new Gang Starr music.

Earlier in the week, DJ Premier hinted at some new tunes possibly coming together.
