On Wednesday, Biz came through and dropped his hard-hitting battle record at both rappers.
This month, Budden publicly shared his issues with Em and notably a lack of providing musical content over the past 10 years.
“News flash Em. I heard the album and because I think you don’t really remember all the members that were in the group, I don’t think you really know our history. Let me tell you what Joe Budden has thought this entire time. I’ve been better than you this entire f**king decade. Huh? Can’t say that back then. Can’t say that back then. But in my rapper brain, I’m a content n*gga. You’ve gotta say something. You have not said anything for the better part of a whole f*cking decade. You have rhymed a bunch of words.”

Some of us are so gifted, that we seem to do with ease, what it takes others real hard work to manifest. The supremely gifted one finds things so easily, that oft-times the supremely gifted one is careless with the gift and never works as hard as he or she should, because they accomplish so much with so little ease. So the gift then becomes the supreme trial for the supremely gifted one. Sometimes you think you know so much, till you don’t wish to be taught any more. You want to teach the teacher. As a result, you really become a fool. • • • • Video: “Bring The Peace” Conversation with Ja Rule (2003) #NOIArchives #Farrakhan
On Em’s new “Fall” record, he goes directly at Joe and makes reference to past domestic violence instances.
“Somebody tell Budden before I snap, he better fasten it/Or have his body bag get zipped/The closest thing he’s had to hits is smackin’ b*tches/And don’t make me have to give it back to Akademiks/Say this sh*t is trash again, I’ll have you twisted/Like you had it when you thought you had me slippin’ at the telly” (“Fall”)
