Childish Gambino Postpones ‘This Is America Tour’

Childish Gambino has been forced to postpone the remaining dates on his “This Is America Tour” until later this year due to an injury.

The rapper injured his foot and ended his Dallas show early on Sunday night (Sept. 23). He has been seen in a wheelchair and leg brace during the tour. Sunday night’s incident was reportedly the result of aggravating a preexisting injury.

As a result, the remaining eight dates on his tour have been rescheduled for December, starting with Nashville on Dec. 2 and ending with two back-to-back shows in Los Angeles on Dec. 16-17. The Seattle show is canceled due to venue renovations. Tickets will be honored for the newly-scheduled dates.

Meanwhile, Gambino’s appearance at the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans on Oct. 27 will continue as planned. His appearance at Austin City Limits Music Festival has been canceled.

“This Is America” will be the rapper’s final tour as Childish Gambino. He plans to retire the Childish Gambino moniker upon the release of his upcoming fourth studio album.
