Chance the Rapper Reveals ‘Good Ass Job’ Has Not Been Started

When words got out that Kanye West was returning to Chicago many were under the belief we would soon get a collab album with Chance the Rapper. In fact, Ye stated he and Chicago’s saint would be working on Good Ass Job. Turns out, they haven’t even started. Chano visited The Joe Budden Podcast, which was released on Saturday, and he revealed that it has yet to even get underway.

“The project is something I’ve been wanting to do for a very long time. I don’t think it’s Kanye’s thing, he’s about to drop Yandhi. There’s no doing it, the project hasn’t started yet,” Chance told Joe and his cohosts Rory and Mal.

Yandhi is the project that was supposed to drop the same day as Tha Carter V, but Ye pushed it back out of respect. Kim Kardashian then revealed it won’t be heard until Black Friday.

While Chance was with Hip-Hop’s favorite podcast, he did explain how the album’s idea came about. He met Kanye on the festival circuit and told him at that time he wanted to work on the project, Kanye agreed but it is not the focus of the G.O.O.D. Music leader at the moment.

On The Joe Budden Podcast, Chance and the crew did discuss other topics revolving around Chance including his upcoming wedding, being a father, some amazing sales figures for merch, his claim to be independent and much more. You can hear it all below.
