NBA free agent Carmelo Anthony and La La are putting love over war. The estranged couple are reportedly back together following a publicized split amid cheating rumors.

According to reports, Melo and La La are once again together with their son playing a major role.

La La Anthony and Carmelo Anthony are giving their relationship another try nearly two years after their split, sources confirm to Us Weekly. “La La and Carmelo have recently reconciled and they truly still love one another,” an insider close to the Power star, 36, tells Us. “It’s so obvious when they’re together.” The source, who confirms that the pair are officially back together, also points out that their son, 11-year-old Kiyan, factored into the reconciliation: “They also both want what’s best for their son and are committed to being a family.” (Us Weekly)

Last Valentine’s Day, Melo hinted at things possibly working out with La La.

Despite announcing their separation in April, Carmelo Anthony is still thinking of wife La La on Valentine’s Day. The NBA star, 33, shared a selfie with La La on the holiday of love to his social media pages with the caption, “*** MINE FOREVER!!! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY to MY WIFE @lala” (People)

A few months ago, La La shut down the idea of pursuing a divorce from Carmelo.

In 2017, the “Power” actress discussed how much of a close-knit relationship she had with Anthony.

“He’s my best friend. When you’re with someone for 13 years since they were 19 years old, and you have a 10 year-old child, you’d hope that you guys would be cool. We are the best of friends.” (“The Breakfast Club”)
