New York rapper Cardi B has no problem keeping it 100. The hip-hop star has come forward to address her publicized interview with radio host Angie Martinez and coming clean on becoming a victim to a sexual predator.

Last night, Cardi went to Instagram to speak on the interview’s aftermath and addressed the backlash she’s received.

This week, Cardi sparked tons of coverage after revealing she had experienced a #MeToo attack.

Earlier this year, rap star Rick Ross defended Cardi after she caught backlash for allegedly robbing men under the influence during her stripper days.

“Let me tell you something, I’ve seen a lot of people tagging me with this Cardi B sh*t. And I’m going to tell you this, let me explain something to you. Leave Cardi B alone and the reason I tell you that is in a lot of circumstances, that’s what come with that lifestyle. She never hid that. We all know that. Fortunately I’m from Miami and I understand that. My circumstances and my incidents where I did lose a seven-figure deal with Reebok and I took that to the chin. I have no love lost for Reebok, you understand? I needed to understand that I was a king, and they’re right, I didn’t need to promote that. The parties I attended at the time, where I’m from, that was the lifestyle. You dig? And when you look at the reaction when I perform that [‘U.O.E.N.O’] record, that was the most popular line to a lot of mothafuckas and that’s who I wrote that for. I wrote that for motherf*ckers that live that lifestyle.”

The same week, Hot 97 radio veteran Funk Flex trolled Cardi with savage memes.
