Ariana Grande Announces ‘The Sweetener World Tour’

Ariana Grande is bringing Sweetener to a city near you.

The pop superstar has announced the first leg of “The Sweetener World Tour.” The 42-date North American arena trek will kick off March 18 in Albany, NY before hitting Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, Miami, and Atlanta, continuing through June 18 at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

An American Express pre-sale starts Thursday, Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. local time through Saturday, Nov. 3 at 10 p.m. local time.

The tour marks her first outing since 2017’s “Dangerous Woman Tour,” which was interrupted by tragedy. During a stop at the Manchester Arena show on May 22, a terrorist bombing killed 22 concertgoers and injured more than 800. Grande resumed the tour on June 7.

“The Sweetener World Tour” comes in support of Grande’s fourth album Sweetener, which was released in August and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 231,000 equivalent album units.

Just two months after its release, she is already back in the studio working on a new project, which has been helping her cope with the death of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller and her recent breakup with Pete Davidson.
