7 Things We Learned From Anderson .Paak on The Breakfast Club

A week before Thanksgiving last month Anderson .Paak released his highly anticipated album Oxnard and while Dr. Dre isn’t exactly known for working with singers/rappers, people agree that the two do seem to have some pretty good chemistry together.

After rocking his musical performance this past weekend on Saturday Night Live, the rapper/singer decided to check the Breakfast Club where Angela Yee and DJ Envy continue to hold the fort down while Charlamagne Tha God is out sowing his royal oats (we kidding, y’all).

Touching on topics from how religion had him ditching Hip-Hop to his role in getting his father locked up, Anderson .Paak shows and proves that he’s really lived a life and it’s shaped him into the star he is today.

1. Soul Survivor

At the age of 13 Anderson was introduced to church and took to it so hard that he threw away his Snoop Dogg album and other CD’s and began to bump Kirk Franklin and church music to save his soul. Naturally he ended up signed to Dr. Dre as an adult.
