6ix9ine Scores $10 Million Record Deal

6ix9ine’s comeback is in motion.

While he plots his return to music, TMZ reports that the incarcerated rapper has signed a new record deal for more than $10 million with his former label 10K Projects. The independent L.A.-based label, founded by Elliot Grainge, is also home to Trippie Redd, Lil Gnar, and Icy Narco.

Once 6ix9ine is released, he will receive the big paycheck in return for releasing two albums, one in English and one in Spanish.

Additionally, Page Six claims that Tekashi has been offered a multimillion-dollar deal to tour after he gets out of prison.

Despite testifying against his former associates in the Nine Trey Bloods gang, Tekashi seems to believe his snitching will be forgotten once he’s released from prison and he will be more popular than ever. His former label apparently agrees, and is betting on the judge handing him a light sentence.

He’s reportedly already reached out to a producer for beats. “It looks like he will be making music right away when he comes home,” says an insider. “He already contacted a young NYC producer, and someone purchased two beats for him.”

Tekashi was facing a minimum of 47 years in prison after pleading guilty to racketeering and other charges, but he is expected to receive a reduced sentence in return for his cooperation with the feds. He could get time served and be released sometime in 2020.

His sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 18.
