Free Weezy is in the streets, Young Money Radio is across your airwaves and now it seems Tha Carter 6 is on the way to your phones. Lil Wayne spoke with Variety and teased that the album will be next up and is his current favorite.
“My favorite Carter album is the next one,” Wayne replied to the reporter. If that is so, it will be the second of the series to release in the past three years. Wayne dropped Tha Carter V back in 2018.
Earlier this year, Wayne dropped the Funeral album, which was reloaded with some extra tracks this past May.
As far as the future of Young Money Radio, Weezy is looking to make a run with it.
“I’d love to take YM Radio as far as it can possibly go because I truly didn’t expect it to be so satisfying for the consumer and that’s always first,” said Wayne. “I damn sure didn’t think I’d enjoy the whole hosting thing but I’m having a blast with it.”
