President-elect Donald Trump is on a victory lap, and everyone isn’t feeling it—especially Plies. The rapper is looking at the results of the 2024 election and has come to one conclusion: “Character no longer matters.”
“Just because the person that you felt should have won didn’t make it across the finish line, don’t for a second allow yourself to question your beliefs and what it is that you stand for,” Plies said on Instagram. “Just because some results didn’t go how you foreseen them to go, it doesn’t mean you wrong about anything.”
He added, “One thing this election did teach me is something that he knew and something that I didn’t know. That character no longer matters. That all the dark and divisiveness and all the things he said, he knew people wanted that, I just didn’t think that they did.”

Maybe Plies is still hot over Kamala losing the election.
Nobody really knows what prompted the Florida rapper to come for the hottest female rappers in the game, but no one’s neck was left unchecked. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Plies has filed copyright infringement lawsuits today (November 6) against Megan, Glo and Cardi for their unauthorized use of his 2008 “Me & My Goons” track. Big Draco also felt the wrath too, for his unauthorized use of the same track on his Soulja Boy anthem “Pretty Boy Swag”.
Megan and GloRilla’s collaboration on “Wanna Be” did numbers this year, sparking a summertime remix with Cardi B, but now Plies names all of the above in his lawsuit. Soulja’s use of the song dates back to 2010, but that didn’t make him exempt from the “Bust It Baby” rapper’s legal wrath.
Plies’lawsuit names Meg’s Hot Girl Productions, Soulja’s former imprint Collipark Productions as well as Universal Music Group, Collective Music Group and Interscope as defendants.

The month of December is exciting for a number of reasons, with the main ones being celebrating Christmas as well as preparing for the new year. And while this holiday typically ensues nostalgia in most people’s homes, Plies is feeling a certain type of way.
Sharing to his 10 million followers on Instagram, the “Becky” rapper posted a video of himself going off on how sick he is of hearing Mariah Carey’s Christmas classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
Posting directly from his mother’s house on Christmas day, Plies posted a selfie video stating: ““I’m at my mothafuckin’ mama house. I’m sick of hearing this mothafuckin’ song mom! Aight? According to TMZ, the song itself was streamed an outstanding 23,701,697 times on Christmas Eve. This actually outdid last year’s streams on the same day, which clocks it at 21,273,357 times.

Before Plies gave us some of the most hilarious social media commentaries, he was known for hits singles. From “Bust It Baby” to “Shawty,” Plies knew how to cater to a woman audience. While the Florida native is renowned for being outspoken, he always knows how to bridge the gap between comedy and seriousness. The “Ran Off on the plug twice” rapper recently tweeted in support of “The Future is Female moving, as he asked for the next POTUS to be a woman.

Every artist will come to a point in their career where they evolve. Plies seems to be up next on the list as the “Bust it Baby” rapper has now made the public announcement that he has moved on from his infamous gold teeth.
The rapper posted a video to his Instagram Thursday morning that shows him packing the teeth into a container and then beginning to bury the container in the dirt. To top off the departure, Plies had a sad melody playing in the background as he reminisced the good times he has had with the gold teeth over the years.
“Like they say, all great things come to an end. So I’m finna bury my gold teeth. Heavenly Father, thank You. For giving me these gold teeth. Made a lot of money with them and ate some of the best nooki this world has ever seen. Moving forward it’s a different me,” the rapper says before taking a deep breath.
