It’s a girl!
Yung Miami and her boyfriend, producer Southside, welcomed a baby girl on Friday, Oct. 18. The City Girls rapper, whose real name is Caresha Brownlee, announced her daughter’s arrival on Instagram along with her name–Summer Miami.
“Summer Miami So happy & blessed,” wrote the proud mom.
She also shared the first photos of her newborn baby in the hospital wrapped in a pink blanket while sleeping alongside her father. A second photo showed Summer lying on her stomach while wearing a ruffly pink dress and a diaper with her name on it.
“I’m convinced I have to be Chinese or Asian! My baby is everything,” Yung Miami wrote on Instagram Stories.
This is the second child for Yung Miami, who has a 6-year-old son named Jai from a previous relationship.
Her fellow City Girl JT, who was released from prison earlier this month, also welcomed Summer into the world. “So I can finally express how happy I am that summers here,” tweeted JT. “Snook snook is beautiful just like her mommy.”
The “Act Up” duo is wasting no time getting back to work. They are readying a new album for release in the next 90 days, according to Quality Control CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas.
