Starting Monday, April 6, the nationally syndicated talk show will return to television with new segments taped from her home in New York City. The new content will be included in episodes taped before the show stopped production on March 12th, due to growing concerns around the Coronavirus. The new segments will feature Wendy’s signature take on pop culture stories, ‘Hot Topics,’ and other show staples like ‘Ask Wendy’ and celebrity interviews.

High-Key Details

Williams also confirmed the huge news. Wendy admitted the broadcast might have a different look but promised to keep her same energy for loyal viewers.

“I may not be in my purple chair, and it may not look the same but I’m very excited to get back to my Wendy Watchers … there’s so much uncertainty in all of our worlds right now and we need each other!”

Wait, There’s More

Last month, Wendy updated fans on her well-being in quarantine. She also provided some details about her family.

“WENDY @ HOME: Wendy tells us about her nephew’s exciting news, the school project she did with Suzanne’s son and dishes about today’s Hot Topics. Watch now on our YouTube channel.”

Before You Go

In mid-March, Wendy’s show went into an indefinite suspension. Since then, her social media channels have featured home broadcasts.

“The safety and well-being of our employees is our top priority. Considering the current escalation of the coronavirus, production will be put on hold, indefinitely. However, the office will remain open for you to pick up any materials or personal items. In place of live shows we will air repeats and we will continue to monitor the situation with the CDC and city officials to determine the best time to return and produce live shows again. Thank you for everything you do and please stay safe!” (Broadcasting Cable)
