New York radio station Hot 97 is keeping mum. The popular network has come forward to shut down rumors claiming Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s music will not receive airplay following his potential prison release.

On Monday, Hot 97’s Instagram page ended the speculation and gossip reports.

This week, a report claimed Hot 97 wouldn’t give 6ix9ine any airwave attention if he gets out of prison.

According to a report TMZ published on Monday (Oct. 14), an executive from the New York radio station confirmed that they don’t plan to play 6ix9ine’s music upon his release from prison. Hot 97’s exec admits that the station has never really been a big supporter of the Brooklyn rapper. They also aren’t fans of Tekashi’s decision to testify against his former Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods associates. (XXL)

On Sunday, West Coast rapper Game shared his disgust in 6ix9ine getting a deal from behind bars after testifying against his former affiliates in a drug trafficking case.

Last week, footage surfaced of West Coast rapper Blueface saying 6ix9ine isn’t welcomed in Los Angeles.
