Tomi Lahren is Upset That Jay-Z and Beyonce Didn’t Stand During National Anthem

While yesterday was Super Bowl Sunday, fans may have lost money to their bet on who would win last night’s game, Tomi Lahren lost more respect for one of Hip-Hop’s most beloved couple, Beyonce and Jay-Z. Lahren called the couple out on social media after footage released, showing that the couple chose not to stand for the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.

In 2019 fans questioned Jay-Z’s deal but now he protests in a similar style that got Colin Kaepernick blackballed from the league. Following Kaepernick’s decision to kneel during the Nation Anthem, other players throughout the NFL league also decided to kneel during the anthem, in protest against police brutality and social injustice.

After noticing Mr. and Mrs. Carter did not stand, Lahren blasted the couple online, once again referring to Hov as a former crack dealer.

“Beyoncé & Jay-Z (former crack dealer) sit for the national anthem because apparently the United States of America has oppressed them with millions upon millions of dollars & fans. Sounds rough. Maybe they should try another country that allows them a little more freedom & success?” Lahren writes on Twitter. Leave it to Lahren to connect the situation to politics, as the next thing she says is, “You hate police, Donald Trump, and the spirit of this nation so much you can’t pick your privileged asses off the chair for 2 mins to pay some respect? Despicable.”

While some viewers are offended by the power couple’s actions, you have on the other hand fans are supporting the actions of the billionaire couple. Fans took a stab at the media outlet who released the video of the couple sitting, accusing them of singling them out, and put the attention on others who decided to sit during the anthem.

“So did the lady in front of them… no one’s calling her out… ” one post read.

“Every little thing Beyoncé does is magnified and analyzed in the worst possible way, whenever she *merely attends* an event. And you wonder why she rejects all interviews and public appearances for nearly a decade,” another post read.

Jay-Z and Beyonce have yet to make a comment on this matter.
